American University Eagles beat Maryland Terrapins for first time in 81 years

This obviously has nothing to do with the 49ers, but I figure I have this forum and might as well put this up for my own gratification.  My undergraduate alma mater American University, a team consistently ranked in the 200s in the RPI rankings won at Maryland today 67-59 for the first AU win against Maryland since the 1926-1927 season.

Somewhere on the Capital Beltway, a lone AU fan has lit a car on fire in celebration!  GO EAGLES!

it's always good to see your old school get a big upset.  Now if only UVA could beat VA Tech one of these years...

I picked your Wahoos over Texas Tech.  Gonna be tough considering how quickly the Red Raiders can score, but I think UVa can pull it off.

our D is gonna have to play really well because tech can score.  We don't have a very explosive offense.  here's hoping...
