Profootballtalk.com is reporting that Adalius Thomas may already have a deal in place with the 49ers. According to Roto World, "Of course, deals arranged before free agency starts are tentative in nature since they ... aren't allowed. Last year, LeCharles Bentley reportedly walked out on an agreement with the Eagles to join the Browns. Either way, the 49ers should be seen as the favorites to sign Thomas, who played under Mike Nolan in Baltimore."
I would have to say I'd definitely be disappointed if we DON'T sign Thomas. So hopefully this is true and we can get this deal wrapped up at the very beginning of free agency. No sense in dragging this out and letting other teams get their hopes up.
