It's official. 49ers Release Bryant
In his honor I will post this fantastic picture:

I for one am unhappy. He may be a bad teammate, but he was our most talented receiver. Are we going after a WR in the draft? We'll see. From what I've read he had some contract language that gave him money for the number of games he started, and because of that, he'll only cost something like 1 million against the cap.

Hmmm
He played himself out of the contract, in my eyes. I just don't think he was very good last year, so I don't think the hole he's leaving is that gaping - just a little speed on deep routes, ultimately.
This is a bit of an extreme version of my real opinion, but I'm just making sure I get the point across, so take it with at least that grain of salt.
Still, I'm not all that sad to see him go.
