[EDITOR'S NEW NOTE] - My general plan for the live blogging is the post below...In the meantime, I thought I'd move this back to the top so people can keep getting picks in.

[EDITOR'S NOTE] - I'm always up for a contest to get us through the offseason. Any thoughts on giving more value for later picks? Like maybe if you pick a player that gets drafted in the 4th round or later you get bonus points?

We should.......

do 15 players (or less) for day one......then saturday night do another 15 (or less) guessing for day 2 so after day one we know which dirction the team is going.......

looking at most peoples' picks, they look like day 1 prospects

That's an option, but I'm not sure if everyone would be able to get those Day 2 picks in and some of the people's top 15s include an occasional round 4 guy which would be day 2.

Re: Editors notes

Well, its kind of hard to justify giving bonus points to 4th round selections. I know there is the potential for a ton of variance by the time that round comes along, but if a person picks enough potential "fourth round talent", the person then has four picks to hit on those picks.

Maybe I'm just nitpicking. Maybe I'm a little baffled by my selections, as it appears I've left out much of any talent that should go between the 4th and 6th rounds.

I agree on the 4th round idea considering we have four 4th round picks. How about bonus points for getting a 5th and/or 6th round pick correct? Not many people will take those late guys because there is so much variance then, but it gives you an incentive to take a stab in the dark.
