HOW BOUT THEM WARRIORS?!
Clearly this has nothing to do with the 49ers, but we're all sports fans and unless you're a Mavericks fan you HAD to love watching this. I'm not normally a huge NBA fan but I had the good fortune of being in the house for one of the biggest upsets in NBA history.
The Warriors were carried by their home crowd and the emotion Warriors fans showed throughout the series is what I love about sports. While it's true this was only the first round series and the Warriors have more business in front of them, the Warriors and all of their fans can savor the limelight for the time being. Golden State has become America's team, if only few a short time.
Congratulations to the Warriors and to Golden State of Mind. I can't wait to feel the joy of the playoffs with the 49ers and the rest of you, that's for sure!

Warriors and their fans...
I'll go with Houston. I don't know about anyone else, but I feel Utah is a more well-rounded team. Houston is a bit more of a two-man show, and the Warriors could easily out-matchup two players.
Houston will be a better match up
I think it is easier to game plan against the Rockets. Put Jackson on T-Mac. Body Harrington against Yao. If/when Yao puts the ball on the hardwood, have Baron/Monta/Richardson or whoever collapse on the ball forcing him to pick it and pass. The Rockets' perimeter shooters are not as good as the Jazz's.

Houston
Typically there's a lot of playoff controversy, with a certain amount of people conspiring and grumbling that the NBA wants certain teams to advance and such. So I bring this to the forefront, did the NBA want the GSW to down the Mavs?
I only bring this up because I'm suprised that Jackson and/or Richardson didn't get suspended for game 6 (especially Jackson).
I don't know.
Terry could have been suspended after his stunt in game five and no one would have complained. He wasn't even fined, though.
Maybe it could be true if the NBA decided AFTER game 5 that they wanted the Warriors to win. It'd be hard to convince anyone that was the NBA's intention all along, though.
NBA Conspiracies
If the big calls in this series had gone against the Mavericks, I would totally believe that David Stern had the officials send a message to long time Stern foe Mark Cuban. But since the refs seemed to have it out for the Warriors, maybe Stern was actually trying to oust the Warriors because Stephen Jackson. I can't see Stern doing anything to try and put Jax in the spotlight, as he's been the poster boy for on and off court problems lately.
If there was a conspiracy in place, I'd say the Warriors overcame it. They were hungrier, they wanted it more. Dallas came out last night looking like they were already beaten, they just don't have that killer instinct type player, a guy they let go in the form of Steve Nash.
Here's to hoping we get to see a Suns-Warriors Western Conference Finals matchup. It would absolutely be the most entertaining and exciting matchup we could possibly see in the playoffs.
