This isn't exactly breaking news, but Mayor Gavin Newsom announced that the field at Monster Park would be renamed for Bill Walsh.  

Not exactly rocket science, but glad it's being done.  This way, the sponsor keeps their name on the stadium, the 49ers keep Monster's money and Bill Walsh is honored.  I'd expect the field name to carry over to any new stadium as well.
