This just in, make sure you draft Joey Harrington in fantasy leagues if you desperately need a QB.  Michael Vick has agree to a plea bargain.  

Apparently the prosecution was offering 18-36 months, while his defense team was trying to negotiate it to under a year.  Rumors were swirling that bigger gambling and racketeering charges were coming, which would have made for a much more difficult plea bargain.  So I guess we'll have to wait and see how the plea bargain works out.

I'm not planning a lot of in depth analysis as this is not a Falcons' blog and considering the brutality of the offense it's not worth giving the time of day too.  Suffice to say, aside from murder and whatnot, this is definitely one of the worst offenses out there in terms of general dispicableness (if that's a word).  I'm a dog person and that says enough.  I don't even really care if he "learns his lesson."  It's past that, but I fully expect some team to sign him when he gets out of prison.  There is no denying he is supremely talented, but also a supreme bonehead.  I hold no sympathy whatsoever for him.  

I'd hope Falcons fans are able to just move on and realize they get to enjoy the greatness that is Joey Harrington!  Ewing Theory anybody?
