I'm heading out of town for the weekend and along with the current Know Thy Enemy, I wanted to leave you with this.  I was contacted a while back by FSNBayarea.com about blogging for them on a semi-regular basis.  Blez over at Athletics Nation and Grant at McCovey Chronicles each have a blog with them that they update anywhere from once a week to once a month.

After some discussions with them we came up with a name and site for it.  The title of the blog is Nothing Finer: A 49ers Blog.  I chose the name based on the old 49ers slogan, "There ain't nothing finer, than being a 49er."  As the team returns to prominence it seems most applicable.  Obviously Fox handles 49ers games, but FSN has some programming of their own in covering the 49ers that they are working on.  The blogs are based at Blogspot so Nothing Finer's URL is:

I've always felt that my own 49ers analysis covers both fiery passion and statistical analysis.  In my first post at Nothing Finer, I go into both of those to give people an idea of where I'm coming from.  I'm not sure yet how often I'll be posting there, but when I do I'll make mention of it over here.  This won't affect the amount of time I put into Niners Nation, but rather is another way to promote Niners Nation and drive traffic.  I believe we'll even be getting spots during FSN programming which can only be good for business.
