Ok folks here it is, a question I often ponder, although usually in relation to baseball, but it works either way.

Would you rather:

a) have your favorite team be mediocre to bad for years and years, but somewhere in that stretch win a championship

or

b) have your favorite team be consistently good, making the playoffs or narrowly missing almost every  year but never win it all?
