Davis Injury

Looks like Vernon Davis has a sprained knee. They do not know how bad is until he has an MRI on Monday. This could not come at a worse time for our offense we really need him in the redzone. I hope he will be able to play next week against Seattle.

Davis says the knee is "sore," "stiff," "nothing serious."

Whew.  One knee injury is already too much for one week.

shooting the trainers?
GORE'S HAND: Team trainers wanted to have Gore's right hand X-rayed after the game, but no technicians were around to shoot them at the stadium, team officials said.

In Pittsburgh, even the technicians pack heat. Good thing they weren't around.
