OT: Fun with photoshop / link dump

Since I have something that would go in a link dump, and there isn't one up, I'll make one.  I'm pretty proud of my latest photoshop creation so I thought I'd share with all of you what I did.  My friend writes a blog and needed a fill in today so I wrote his post and made a nice little picture to go with it.  Here's the link.

Also, Maiocco has an interview with Marshall Faulk about Mike Martz and says we offered a contract to Shaun Hill today.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Niners Nation's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Niners Nation's writers or editors.

Nice...
Gotta love the q-tip.

Saw the interview with Faulk and he has quite the man crush on Mike Martz.

Random Question
Does anyone know where to get NFL contract info?  I know of one for baseball but I don't know of any for football.  It would have to be somewhat in depth, not just 5 years, 60 million; I'm hoping for info on each year's value (e.g. 6 in 2007, 8 in 08, 12 in 09, etc.).  I wanted to put together a spreadsheet with contract info for every player on the Niners for their entire contract to see how we looked against the cap this year and estimated future caps.

You might try

Sorry, I don't know how to add those fancy links.

Is a suit still considered a suit if it is made by Reebok?

Or Rotoworld
The link jfainsf49 put up is pretty sweet but I don't know if it has the values of the future contract years (I just did a quick search on Alex Smith and it only showed his '05-'07 salaries).

You can try Rotoworld as well

http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/player_contract.aspx?sport=NFL&id=3119

Just search for the player and under contract info just click the "Details" link.  It might give enough info for you.

salaries
This is independent but it's more or less a compilation of stuff out there for each team.  It's a downloadable excel file, but it's safe to open.  I'm going to use that this offseason once he updates things (I may even do some of my own updating).

Yikes
I clearly didn't think this through.  There is much more info necessary than I originally thought.

Larry Allen
Apparently Larry Allen is retiring says Rotoworld via NFL Network's Adam Schefter.  Which after last season's performance probably isn't a bad thing.

Douglas wants to return

I would definitely love to have him back at a reasonable price.  Hopefully it can be worked out, because he seems like a great person in addition to being a solid player for our scheme.
