Next Week
San Francisco 49ers at New York Giants. The game of our season, it hangs in the balance of this single game right here. You all have blamed JTO for that loss, but i blame Nolan. A loss next week, a blowout would leave nolan to be fired. A win, and i see us right back in the thick of things in the nfc west. The cardinals have a bye next week, so it'd be the perfect time to get within a game. Arizona then heads to carolina after their bye, and we have seattle at home. So if we can somehow pull off a win over New York, we're right back. But that is one big IF

The Giants are really good. I’ll be fairly stunned if they don’t blow out the Niners.
Trent Kline: Decentish. Also, my website is called ChatterBalks Dot Com. It's not being updated right now. Hope for more at your own risk.

predictions
I’m curious how many people elect to pick against the 49ers this week in the prediction contest….Could get ugly.

decision time
I haven’t picked against the Niners yet and I think it is holding me back. I have been in the top 10 for the past 3 weeks, had I picked against the Niners the past 2 weeks, I could be in the top 5 or possibly trying to dethrone wjackalope.
That said, I think this is the week I break my streak and go against my heart. I feel this turning into last season and pretty much have been dissapointed to the point where I don’t expect us to win against an opponent that looks poised to blow us out.

reverse mojo
I have picked the niners every week, and see where it has gotten us. Maybe if I pick against the niners the rest of the year, it might be just the thing to break them out of it. It could work!!

Only one person here has blamed JTO for the loss. What the heck are you talking about?
My Dave Righetti is better than your Dave Righetti.

Unless Nolan was calling the plays I don’t see how this is his fault.

see I don't see this as a big game
because nobody looked at the schedule at the beginning of the year and thought we could win this one. It’s very hard to go on the road to the east coast and play an early game and win, especially against a much better team. That’s why the Eagles game was the big game. We were at home and playing against a team that was beatable. We had a VERY good chance to win and totally blew it. Had we won that game, we could accept a loss to the Giants knowing we get Seattle at home next.
Still defending Rich Aurilia, and the Niners' classic unis

I just want to take a moment to thank the Browns
for making the Giants look stupid on national tv. I’d also like to thank them for the ass whipping Coughlin is going to give them all week. Yes, nothing is better than a tough defense pissed off at the world. Somebody better tell JTO to put one of his dog tags in his shoe, so we can identify him after the game.
