San Francisco 49ers @ New York Giants - The extra special Just Turnovers O'Sullivan Thread
Clearly that last thread outlived its usefulness. The 49ers trail 24-10 as Just Turnovers O'Sullivan has done all he can to blow any chance of an upset. Aside from the two scoring drives, the offensive has looked pretty inept with overthrows, drops and turnovers. Even with the score as is, the defense has played pretty well. 10 of the points came after a 49ers turnover deep in their own territory. Other than that they've actually made som stops on third down. We'll see how this game wraps up.
GO NINERS!

Hey, when your options could reasonably be Alex Smith vs. ??0…
This thought brought to you by the idea that Shaun Hill might also realistically fail if/when he gets his chance.
If you think about it, Alex Smith is the only QB we have under contract right now who can’t possibly fail this year.

Jesus Christ, a fumble into a safety?
Against Seattle, I watched the first quarter and then had to drive about 50 miles. Only good things happened when I stopped watching. Last week I turned the TV on when the Niners were ahead 27-16 in the fourth. The second I started watching, everything went bad. Today I turned on the TV just in time to watch Morgam drop a perfect 50+ yard pass at the 5 and JTO fumble suck the end of the drive.
I thought, “Man, bad things happen when I watch” and turned it off, hoping for the best. I guess bad things don’t just happen when I watch.
My Dave Righetti is better than your Dave Righetti.
Patrick Willis is our new quarteback
"We'd like to think that tickets will be hard to come by." Bill Walsh

My Dave Righetti is better than your Dave Righetti.

official nolan checklist tally...
3. calling a time out when you shouldn’t
4. not calling a time out when you should
9. giving up 3rd down conversions when you shouldn’t
10. making opponent’s backups look like stars
11. making niners’ stars look like backups
12. inadequate gameplan for the strengths/weaknesses of the opponent
13. few, if any, in game adjustments when gameplan proves inadequate
11 and 13 are added as a result of the overall game evaluation. gore looked like a backup, and there weren’t many adjustments in that regard.
