Week 8 Prediction Game

And so it's the first prediction week A.N.  I'm curious to see what kind of range of picks we get.  If I wasn't so lazy I'd do a statistical analysis of the percentage of folks who pick for and against the 49ers each week.  Maybe this week will see a boost in people picking the 49ers.  Of course, that could have as much to do with how dreadful the Seahawks have been and not necessarily because of the coaching change.

49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks - Sunday 10/26 1:15pm

Indianapolis @ Tennessee - Monday 10/27 5:30pm

San Diego @ New Orleans - Sunday 10/26 10:00am - Live from London

Tampa Bay @ Dallas - Sunday 10/26 10:00am

St. Louis @ New England - Sunday 10/26 10:00am

Atlanta @ Philadelphia - Sunday 10/26 10:00am

Considering the matchups, I'd guess most people will take the Patriots, but is anybody willing to ride the Rams hot streak?  And then there's the Falcons-Eagles game.  Interesting matchup indeed.

WK 8 Prediction Game

Thanks for picking the London game Fooch, I do hope you guys tune in watch it. Here’s a couple of reasons why – the BBC are broadcasting the game live here using the CBS commentary, which means NO ADVERTS. I think you guys are heroes, putting up with the number and frequency of commercials that the US broadcasters have. The other reason is Jerry Rice – he is the special guest star on the programme.
Anyways, on to my predictions…

49ers v Seattle – 27-20. Winning start for Singletary.
Indianapolis @ Tennessee – 23-17. Titans defense sees them through this one.
San Diego @ New Orleans – 20-16. Injuries costly for the saints.
Tampa Bay @ Dallas – 24-17. The cowgirls starting to implode.
St Louis @ New England – 19-31. Patriots just too good.
Atlanta @ Philadelphia – 17-35. Home advantage tells.

Another Perfect Score?

Seattle @ San Fran – 13-27 Let’s start the Singletary Era with a huge W!!

Indy @ Tennessee – 17-24 Not quite the homecoming for the former Volunteer.

San Diego @ New Orleans – 20-24 Reggie will put on a show Euro-style.

Tampa Bay @ Dallas – 31-21 Big D will miss Romo

St. Louis @ New England – 10-27 If Steven Jackson doesn’t play, maybe a shutout

Atlanta @ Philly – 20-24 Matt Ryan is looking like the real deal, but not in Philly.

Yeah.

From the sound of it (from Martz), the only way O’Sullivan is benched is if Martz loses a throwdown with the head coach. Highly unlikely if the team still believes it can (somewhat) compete.

A strong prediction, like a strong person, can afford to be gentle, firm, thoughtful, and restrained.

Seattle @ 49ers - 17- 23. God it would feel good to see us win again.

Indianapolis @ Tennessee – 20 – 23. Titans keep on rolling. Peyton and Addai continue to destroy my fantasy season.

San Diego @ New Orleans – 24 – 21. Should be a good game, or something.

Tampa Bay @ Dallas – 23 – 21. Popular upset pick?

St. Louis @ New England – 17 – 24. I thought about taking the Rams here just because it would take serious balls, but… no.

Atlanta @ Philadelphia - 20 – 26. I think this could be the “shocking” upset of the weekend, but I’ll play the odds.

Stupid internet

My connection’s bad. I made my picks yesterday, and I thought I got them in before it cut out (this is why you should not steal internet from your neighbors. On the plus side, free internet!).

All those picks were 100% guaranteed to be right, but I couldn’t remember them.
