but still, we cant afford to have the guy be the highest paid TE in the league and be so no-existent in the passing game. Maybe bulk him up and play him at tackle? :) Hey, he’d be the most athletic tackle in the history of the game and wouldnt be so overpaid there.

I keep hearing this...
Is Davis really the highest paid TE in the league? Seriously? I mean, his contract wasn’t even that big for a no.6 overall, and with guys like Jason Witten, Jeremy Shockey, Heath Miller, Todd Heap, and Dallas Clark all getting paid in the past couple years, I find that hard to believe.
