SB Nation 2.0 Features Update

Every so often the tech folks of SB Nation will unveil a new little gadget or toy rather quietly.  I thought I'd roll out this front page post to keep people abreast of some of the new options at all SBN sites.

A lot of 49ers sites employ a message board format that helps further discussion.  Our FanPosts do a good job of keeping the conversation relatively contained.  However, I'm sure there are times you have a comment related to an old FanPost.  However, with only 10 FanPosts on the front page it's hard to find older ones.  Well, SBN has rolled out a page listing the last 25 FanPosts in a sort of message board format.  The url for the site is: http://www.ninersnation.com/fanposts.  I think it could help develop the conversation even further.  I'll keep an eye on that in case a given FanPost becomes timely a couple weeks after it has disappeared.

Additionally, you may notice some buttons to click on near the comments link on each front page post.  We're always looking for ways to get the word out about the site and places like Digg and Facebook are huge for that.  So the links from left to right are:

1. Facebook: If you click on that, a pop-up window shows up that allows you to share the link on your Facebook page if you have it.  That way all your friends can check it out.

2. Digg: Digg allows stories to be submitted for others to see.  If you like a given story, "Digg it" and the more diggs it gets, the higher it will appear and the more people will see it.

3. Buzz: The Buzz button has been around for a while and is similar to Digg.  If you Buzz up an article it will get moved up the popularity list for more people to see.

Also, I never updated it, but in case you didn't know, the entire NFL is officially represented at SB Nation.  So, feel free to check out the rest of the league.
