49ers beat Rams Big freaking deal
The 49ers are on their way. Print up playoff tickets and drop your pants. Let's all have a freaking party. The Lambs are one of the three worst teams in the league and the 49ers are in the 6-7 range on the crapola meter.
It's time to go to Dallas and get their behinds kicked in by the Cowboys. Hill will go back to his form in the 4th quarter @ Ari. The self proclaimed greatest coach of all time (Singletary) " I will be one of the greatest coaches of all time" will get his boxers ready to drop in Dallas.
I still say to blow up the whole thing and hire a new coach with all new assistants. Don't get too excited about the Rams win; I sure have'nt.
Dallas wins 31-14

If you can dodge a ram
You can dodge a cowboy.
The rams only have two wins, can you remember who they were against?

Yeah, but I don’t think he was ever in danger of being wrong. Other than the stuff that usually bothers me about non-contributor fanposts, here’s what bothered me:
The 49ers are on their way. Print up playoff tickets and drop your pants. Let’s all have a freaking party.
Very nice response there to a non-existent reaction. I can’t name a single person, even among my idiot friends, who was crowning the 49ers as anything more than a bad team that beat a bad team after the loss. One of my biggest pet peeves is people making up what other people are thinking so that they can feel somehow more justified in their own opinion. By virtue of pretending that everybody now thinks the 49ers are worldbeaters, TakeAGiantScreenName can act like he’s the only guy in the world who sees the truth. It’s the same weak-sauce tactic as using the “now before all you ESPN zombie jerks call me an idiot” disclaimer. Those people don’t live here, bub. Move the fuck along.

This Fanpost
Must have been directly aimed at me then, because I’ve been wanting Shaun Hill and Coach Sing since early last season and I’m going to continue ballwashing that combo until we get something better.
That being said, I am printing up playoff tickets, dropping my pants and having a freaking party after the win. If we lose on Sunday, at least it won’t be because of Smith, Rollin’ With Nolan, or JustTurnOvers- and when you take away those three, aren’t we all winners?

Exactly
Current tally for GiantStep:
Fanposts: 21
Comments: 14
This dude isn’t even contributing to dialog, he’s throwing shit against the wall and… Seeing… How many responses his idiotic posts can get.
Additionally, GiantStep… The Niners record stands at 3-7. They would have to go undefeated the rest of the way to have a winning record, and NOBODY thinks that’s going to happen. So your post is stupid, useless, made up, and as HTS appropriately put it, weak-sauce.

Agree
Sometimes it’s just easier to bitch. I realize we’re not expected to beat Dallas. And maybe we do end up getting blown out. But for a few days we can enjoy a win and pretend we’re a decent team.
And I think that means this FanPost requires:

I think we have a chance against Dallas...
Romo is hurting so when the ball in the air the DBs better intercept those ducks flying.
Joe and Steve were under the same system for years... don't expect Smith to be super so soon.

Hey!
That’s my response-graphic =(
But seriously, Howtheyscored is right: no one was riding the “maybe we ARE good” bandwagon after last week’s game, so this kind of post was just unnecessary. I mean maybe after the Detroit game we needed a little reality dosage, but this one…? Not so much.
People seem pretty much in agreement that we were are a bad team who had a decent game against an even worse team. And that’s where things should be.

Did you see
today’s Golden Nuggets? The SacBee broke down some stats, and we’re tied at 13th for points scored per game with the Cowgirls. The difference in our records? We allow a little over 5 points more per game. The way I see it, all else being equal, two turnovers in our favor that lead to field goals (or one leading to a TD) is enough to seal the game for us, however ugly or close the score may be.
If my money has to ride on defense, I feel a little better knowing P-Willy’s on my side.

actually...
you could get that bet from vegas, as the line is Dallas -10.
However, DVOA suggests the game will be much, much closer than that. The difference is primarily special teams, with the niners best in the NFL, and Cowboys 30th. Dallas has really bad kick and punt converage teams (this year)… maybe Rossum has another big day?

ripping people
First off, calling people jerkoffs (I’m assuming jerkoffs is what you meant) is unnecessary. It’s stuff like this that forced me to post this.
Second, people were not disagreeing with your prediction, they were disagreeing with your assessment that people were hyped up to the point you were claiming. While people are disappointed by this loss, the final score is not exactly a shocking outcome.
