49ers-Cardinals: Wednesday Injury Report

I just received the injury report following today's practice:

San Francisco 49ers

Out: S Dashon Goldson (knee)

Did Not Participate in Practice: WR Arnaz Battle (foot), OT Barry Sims (ankle)

Limited Participation in Practice: OT Jonas Jennings (shoulder), DE Ray McDonald (knee)

Full Participation in Practice: TE Delanie Walker (elbow)

Arizona Cardinals

Did Not Participate in Practice: TE Leonard Pope (ankle)

Limited Participation in Practice: TE Ben Patrick (knee), DE Travis LaBoy (groin), OT Mike Gandy (ankle), CB Eric Green (knee), WR Sean Morey (hamstring), TE Jerame Tuman (ankle), WR Larry Fitzgerald (thumb)

I remain disappointed by the absence of Dashon Goldson.  I really think he could be making a big impact with Shawntae Spencer gone.  Such is life.

This just in from Santa Clara...

J Jennings suffers a deep paper cut on his ring finger reportedly counting the Benjamins. He’s expected to visit the team physician, the IR list, the PUP list, and every other list that will prevent him from actually appearing on the field.

injury report

Did the Niners actually practice yesterday? The Cardinals didn’t even practice, but they had to turn in an injury report regardless. They pushed their schedule back one day since it’s a Monday night affair.

no practice either

I hadn’t even thought of that. In Maiocco’s post (he’s one of our beat writers), he mentioned it was all hypothetical. That’s rather random.

Well...

… I think the injury report was mostly a reflection of who practiced (or not) on Tuesday, so it wasn’t that hypothetical.
