Don't forget to get your predictions in & USC/Cal Open Thread
I'm away from my computer most of the day today so I won't be able to promote the Prediction Contest FanPost to the front page until 5 or 6 tonight. However, thanks to the power of scheduling posts, I'm scheduling this the day before to get the link up for making your predictions:

In the meantime, feel free to use this as an open thread for college football today. There is of course the Cal-USC game, which has huge Rose Bowl implications. Although I'd imagine USC could roll in this game, a Cal win puts them in the drivers seat for a Rose Bowl bid. Cal has tough games against Oregon State and Stanford left, but a win today would be monstrous.
Also on the docket for today are #1 Alabama at #16 LSU and #2 Texas Tech hosting #9 Oklahoma State. Needless to say, it's a big day of college football.
So, enjoy college football Saturday and don't forget to get your predictions in before kickoff tomorrow morning.

My current Interwebs obsession is pretty awesome. Also, my website is called ChatterBalks Dot Com. It's not being updated right now. Hope for more at your own risk.
Cal is not playing well enough to win
Also, they’re not getting enough balls thrown to them in the end zone that they drop and then get the touchdown anyway.
That’s also a problem.

well that sucked
the defense looked really good (for the most part) but the offense couldn’t do a damn thing. Longshore sucked and Riley wasn’t much better – but the real problem was that they had absolutely no run game – where the hell was Best?
Still defending Rich Aurilia, and the Niners' classic unis
