Ugly Win but the "W" still counts

Good win for Singletary and his players. Singletary did in 3 games what Nolan could not do in 4 years. He won a game east of the Mississippi. There is no way Nolan coaches this team to a win yesterday.

The first drive of the game was the key with the 49ers taking about 7 1/2 min. off the clock. Gore got the ball 20+ times for the game and Willis continues to shine with 14 tackles and a forced fumble. It is true that Buffalo screwed themselves with missed field goals and Edwards leaving the game with a injury but the 49ers played bend not break football and pulled the game out.

The team played with good intensity and for that I salute Singletary. The 49ers were the first team from the west coast to win on the east coast this year.

Niners beat the Bills, Big Freakin' Deal!

The 49ers are on their way. Print up playoff tickets and drop your pants. Let’s all have a freaking party. The Lambs Bills are one of the three worst teams in the league on the decline and the 49ers are in the 6-7 range on the crapola meter.

It’s time to go to Dallas Candlestick and get their behinds kicked in by the Cowboys Jets. Hill will go back to his form in the 4th quarter @ Ari. The self proclaimed greatest coach of all time (Singletary) " I will be one of the greatest coaches of all time" will get his boxers ready to drop in Dallas San Francisco.

I still say to blow up the whole thing and hire a new coach with all new assistants. Don’t get too excited about the Rams Buffalo win; I sure have’nt haven’t.

I might

It’s really the kind of show where if I watch it, it’s enjoyable, but I don’t really feel like I’m missing out if I don’t watch it.

Are you gonna watch it?

Sure plan to

It quickly became one of my favorite shows. Plus thanks to the miracle of Tivo, I can watch it tomorrow if I miss it tonight.

I'm watching it now

I remembered from the previews it had Dixon from Alias.

So, that’s a must watch.

I ended up missing it!

I’m fighting a cold and was exhausted last night. So when my kid went to sleep, my wife and I both sacked out as well. Yeah, we lead an exciting life. So hopefully tonight we’ll be able to catch it, but even that’s a little iffy at the moment. My wife is pregnant and still in the first trimester. So she’s been sick as can be, and tired so much that an 8:30 bedtime for her isn’t out of the question. Plus my out-of-womb kid is taking late naps and staying up too late the past few nights, so by the time she’s finally in bed, we typically don’t have the time to watch much TV anyway. So right now I’m just hopeful we’ll get to watch it this week!

I always want to, but I haven’t been able to get myself into a TV schedule since Angel was cancelled. The closest that I got since then was watching Scrubs on DVD whenever a new season came out. I got a few weeks straight of the Sarah Connor Chronicles, but just couldn’t keep it up.

The big problem is that I don’t have my own TV right now, and I can’t get myself to put on a bunch of crap that my grandma won’t be able to enjoy when I tend to be just as happy not watching anything in particular.

I’m saving up for a 40 inch Samsung, though, and when I get that… it’s over.

Uhh, really? So the only touchdown scoring drive in the game was the key to the game? Thank you Captain Obvious. But the opening drive lasting 7 1/2 min is rather insignificant.

You obviously don't get football

By putting together a long drive they ran 7 1/2 minutes off the clock, leaving Buffalo only 52 1/2 minutes to come back. Clearly, their 52 1/2 minute offense isn’t polished enough. I blame the coaches for not having the players prepared for this scenario.

Jesus, I just looked it up, it was an 8 minute drive (took 3 seconds to look up). Seriously, TAGSAG, please just put a MINIMUM amount of effort into this garbage you post everywhere.

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle. Then I realized God doesn’t work that way, so I stole one and prayed for forgiveness. - Emo Philips

It was clearly the Kragen Autoparts Drive of the Game.

man, these are some really original thoughts and keen insights

the thing I kept thinking watching the game was “why do the Bills want so badly for the 49ers to pick lower in the draft next year?”

by FluLikeSymptoms on Dec 1, 2008 10:28 PM PST reply actions

Singletary is a terrible coach. He should clearly spice up the game plan with more flea flicker fake punt option pitches.

I would love to see Singletary go Insane and tackle someone......

Joe and Steve were under the same system for years... don't expect Smith to be super so soon.
