What the [site decorum]? Barrows threw this up so I thought I would as well. Is this funny? If I wasn't a 49ers fan I don't know what I'd make of it. Thoughts???

Can't laugh at em. Can't watch em. Can't do it.
Who was yelling at him? Are they trying to say he is a puppet (uhhh, no)? That he says things that has nothing to do with the question asked (uhhhhhh definitely not)? It sounds like the audience didn’t laugh the whole time.
Epic fail Letterman, this is why you lose to Leno every week.
Blind devotion.

wow, that wasn't funny at all
I felt like it was some kind of inside joke that I am missing, which makes me think if I am missing an inside joke about the 49ers what about the several million other people watching this?

yeah
not one of dave’s finer moments. I usually like him a lot so I’m pretty perplexed.
Still defending Rich Aurilia, and the Niners' classic unis
hmmm
didn’t laugh once. i don’t even really understand what he is trying to get at. eh not so good, guess i’ll be watching Leno tonight.
Simply by pulling on both ends, Patrick Willis can stretch diamonds back into coal
might it be poking fun at...
…his “audio malfunction” explanation of the last play in miami? if so, wow, that’s a really, really, really inside joke.

I’m confused…
If God had intended us not to rosterbate, he would've made our arms shorter.
Padre renuente de Luis Perdomo, porque él es todo el que se deja hasta junio.
That was absolutely horrible.
Yet again he gives me another reason why his show is hard to watch and has sucked for years. 5 minutes of listening to Leno’s squeeky whining would be easier to handle.

No
That wasn’t funny. But any talk of Leno ever being funny is just wrong. Letterman was funny once. Leno has sucked since he was doing bad Doritos commercials.

Saying you’d rather watch Leno is like saying “No, I don’t want to be kicked in the balls! Please, just hit me in the ribcage with a baseball bat.”
GROUGTHINK ALERT
If that was in reference to my comment above, let me explain a bit more. I could never watch Leno and favored Dave until his show just got weak several years ago. Saying that I would prefer to listen to Leno whine, I was reiterating how bad the skit/Letterman was.

It was more a general statement
I didn’t want to pick between 49erLou and ProfessorBigelow when choosing who to respond to.
GROUGTHINK ALERT
I actually watch neither Jay nor Dave
I was just saying that, according to fans and ratings, Leno is better than Dave.
Personally, I’ll watch HBO, ESPN, The History Channel, The Discovery Channel, Comedy Central, Adult Swim, Food Network, Spike TV, USA, TNT, FOX, Sci Fi, VH1, MTV, CNN, A&E, TMC, Starz, FX, or TLC before I watch one of those two.
Blind devotion.

what the F*#& was that? I'm perplexed!
Joe and Steve were under the same system for years... don't expect Smith to be super so soon.
I mean, the fact the Niners in general are on Letterman is good, I guess
I really don’t get any joke here. I laughed a few times because there were a few funny lines (IM NOT A DOCTOR the second time…)
But it didn’t really make any sense.
