Luckily for me, you guys sorted out all of this tie-breaker crap on your own! Let's give everybody a round of applause for making it so I don't have to do a ton of work. Especially, I'd like to thank marcello, howtheyscored, bayboy, and Josh from Hollywood for all refusing to get stuck in a big fat tie for eighth. I'd give all of you a beer, but I can unfortunately only afford to give one of you a beer. And it's me.

On a more serious note, Ninerfromacrossthepond has emerged finally as our big winner! The second annual winner of these games and joins sfgfan as past champions on the imaginary wall of fame. He should be expecting an e-mail from Fooch regarding the win, and he'll have his choice of prize.

And it really was a sprint to the finish! wjackalope put together a serious run to recapture his crown, but Ninerfromacrossthepond matched him every step of the way to hold on. wjackalope could have hardly expected to do more this week, and he should be proud of his effort. We also saw albertoleecho show his winning face again, and it came back just in time to hang onto sole possession of third place. Unless something dramatic has changed between the last time Fooch e-mailed me a few days ago and now, each of these two guys can also be expecting a little something something from Fooch.

There really were too many people who did well this week week to count (I don't mean that literally, of course). It was a scoring explosion, and I can't get to all of you, but congratulations to everybody. Especially sfgfan. Our (former) defending champion completed his late season push and finally thrusted himself into the playoffs! If you remember, as early as 10 days ago, it seemed that sfgfan was completely out of the race. However, last week he managed a perfect prediction to return himself to the fringes of the race... but he still wasn't seeded. And this week he sealed the deal.
