Fooch Must be Busy (Where Are They Now?)

Two days and no new post. Hmmmm...I guess ol' Fooch is busy with school. Either that or he is on a bender somewhere in Vegas. Do your thing Fooch. We will hold down the fort until you return.

How am I supposed to kill time at work now? I can usually come here and get lost in Niners gab for a good portion of the work day. But since Fooch is on a bender somewhere, what is a guy to do? Work. I don't think so. I wasn't awarded slacker of the year just to let all of my adoring fans down. That would be a total diservice to them, myself, and everything I hold dear--namely, slacking. I mean, a former co-worker didn't call me Sir Lounge-a-Lot for no reason at all.

Alright enough about me.

I want to know what happened to Bob_In_Pacifica? That guy was funny. He also had some interesting things to say. But alas, I guess he has a life outside of NN. The nerve of that guy. Bob if you read this drop us a line you scamp, you scoundrel. He really isn't either of those. I just like saying scamp and scoundrel.

Also what is sfgfan's deal? The guy won the prediction contest and doesn't even come back for his front page post. He always had so much to say, good stuff too. (O-where-o-where is sfgfan?) I even went over to McCovey Chronicles to try and track him down but to no avail.

I wish I could offer some valuable insight into the draft or insight into free agency, but as you can tell, I got nothing.

I leave you all with this. And this is just for funsies(I stole that from HTS by the way). I thought it would be interesting(perhaps even controversial) to throw up a NN Power Ranking poll. A poll to determine the ultimate NN visitor:

Though for the short-term future I'll also be showing up less. I have to reshuffle some things in my life to get on track again (can't even see the track right now, baby!), and except for some upcoming mornings, nights, and a bad afternoon-midnight yesterday on McCoveyChronicles (well, it was a good afternoon-midnight, just not good for my whole "reshuffling" plan), I'll have to spend my days for the next couple weeks doing otherwise. So only expect a fraction of my glory for a little while, and even then mostly just one liners.

I'll be back again in all my glory when this gets sorted out, though. With any luck it won't take too long.

but you're #1 in my ~~heart~~opinion. Without your ~~poorly reasoned~~astute posts I wouldn't have anything to ~~tear into~~comment on. Actually, never mind, recently it has become pretty apparent that I would still have plenty of ~~garbage~~posts to ~~ridicule~~read.

offseason posts

sfgfan is another guy we haven't seen since early in the postseason. I'm going to do what I can to keep interesting posts coming this offseason. And of course suggestions for unique posts are welcome.

Thanks. And thankfully things are spread out decently over the offseason. February gives us the combine and prepping for the draft. March brings free agency and more draft stuff, April is a ton of draft stuff. Of course May and June slow down until training camp really gets going in late July.

Myself, and screw you hippies who say I can't!!!

But if I voted honestly, I'd probably go with Howtheyscored, because I tend to agree with him more than most anyone else on this site, and he's generally a good dude. Not that the rest of you guys aren't good dudes too. I mean, you're not. Particularly Fooch and Braekneck, who I'm of the opinion are total jerkwads and ruin this site regularly. Oh, and fains... Can't stand that guy either. And HowTheyScored... Kind of a d-bag, to be honest...

I kid, you're all good folks who really make this site a joy to visit regularly (especially our esteemed moderator Fooch, obviously). Oh, and thanks for putting me as one of the names on the voting list! Completely undeserved, but it's nice to be thought of.

I saw this diary and was going to vote but I don't see a list of people that are being considered. As a newbie I know better than to vote for myself so my vote is for Fooch. Braekneck would have been my next choice but he is always so angry.

I look at it a little like you really like talking about these things and you don't think poorly of anybody or of most opinions, but that you have a sort of competitive or argumentative performance that helps you to get the most out of your opponents/discussees.

It took me a little while to get used to it, but now that I am I don't find it mean at all since you do mean well, and I have fun reading it.

The list should come at the end of the post. If it isn't there look to the immediate right(in the margin)of the post as you scroll down. Also, Fooch isn't on the list because it was assumed (on my part at least that he is #1 afterall he is the guy running the show). So really it is a race for second.
