PLEASE GET OCHO CINCO!!!!!!!!!!!
Johnson is demanding a trade and stated he will not show up for any Bengal meetings, practices, or other activities. He is egotistical and a pre madonna, but he produces. He never gets into in any real trouble outside of the lines he just wants to win and he likes to celebrate. He is a huge difference maker. I know there is no way in the world that Nolan will make a move for him or would support an acquisition of one of the most productive receivers over the past five years but it would be nice.

Rumor has it...
Honestly, I say [expletive] Chad Johnson. If he didn't want to play for the Bengals he shouldn't have signed the 6 year $35.5M contract he did with them two years ago. I'm tired of these athletes bitching about the contracts that they sign. Anyways, I'd rather over pay for Roy Williams next year and keep my draft picks this year.
Lastly, I doubt the Bengals trade him as they would take an $8M cap hit if they did. They'd probably be better off if Johnson held out.

It IS possible.
I don't know for sure, but I think the Bengals are already a little low in excess cap space, so they'd be in a world of hurt. So it's really unlikely they trade him. As Braekneck said, they'd be better off risking him not playing at all.
Besides, what the heck would the 49ers do with Johnson if Jonas Jennings or Eric Heitmann were to go down with injury? The 49ers lack of depth on the offensive line is a real problem and the team definitely needs to address that with one of it's first two picks. If it fails to do so (because they traded both picks away), they will have squandered one of the few opportunities a team has at drafting a franchise offensive tackle for a very minimal amount of money.

Part of the problem I see with guys like Chad is that if they're unhappy one place, what makes them think they'll be any happier anywhere else? Terell Owens wanted out of SF, and was happy for a year in Philly. Then the wheels came flying off. Randy Moss was unhappy in Minnesota, and later was unhappy in LA. The only reason he became happy at all was because he went to a team that barely knew how to lose. With Moss in New England, Johnson wouldn't be happy there, because he wouldn't be the man. In SF, he'd be the man, but this is a team that should be happy to just make the playoffs. If you're a team just trying to get back to playoff contention, you're probably not the place for a known malcontent like CJ.
I think your best bet is to let someone like him pass by. While it's good that he's law-abiding citizen, so was ol' Terell.
