Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

Obviously we all have our issues with Terrell Owens. However, I will certainly give credit where credit is due. After an ESPN writer got hit by a car, TO was the first on the scene keeping an eye on him. Hopefully Sam Alipour is alright.

Well...

... I don’t think he’s ever really done anything to show that he was a bad person, has he? As far as I know, he’s just a sorry teammate to have a lot of the time.

the comments about Garcia

I think his rat comments (looks like a rat, smells like a rat) about Garcia were one problem I had…I guess with athletes it’s easy to assume that if they’re a bad teammate, they’re a bad person. After the whole suicide attempt thing and his issues with teammates, I think at the very least he’s got some issues. As much of a problem as I’ve had with him in the past, I hope he figures (or has figured out) whatever it is that he needs to figure out.

+1

The end of his Niners tenure was obnoxious at best, and the early years he spent with the Eagles and Cowboys, he just pissed me off more. Eventually I came to realize that while he’s another primadonna celebrity, I realized that doesn’t make him a bad person. Unlike someone like Randy Moss, he never tried to run someone over with his car. Unlike Rae Carruth, he never had anyone killed. Unlike OJ, he didn’t commit any double murders. And unlike the entire Cowboys teams of the ‘90s, we’re not hearing stories of him with hookers and blow.

He’s got his issues, I think he’s a bit of a mental case. But he doesn’t strike me as a bad person. I’d love if he could get his head on straight.

I have no problems with T.O.

I loved him here and I loved the fact that he played with emotion.
