Week 2 Prediction Game
EDITOR'S NOTE: If you didn't participate last week but still want to join in, just include your picks here and a brief note saying this is your first week in the contest.
And so we move on to week 2. I'm tied for the league but I don't expect that to last very long. We've got some interesting matchups this weekend and what could be a great Monday Night game. Remember, all times are pacific.
49ers @ Seattle - Sunday 9/14 1:05pm
Pittsburgh @ Cleveland - Sunday 9/14 NBC Game 5:15pm
Philadelphia @ Dallas - Monday 9/15 5:30pm
Chicago @ Carolina - Sunday 9/14 10:00am
Buffalo @ Jacksonville - Sunday 9/14 10:00am
New England @ New York Jets - Sunday 9/14 1:15pm
I have to say there are some pretty tough matchups this week. The Jets are favored, but Matt Cassel has officially become the ultimate x-factor. Chicago's defense looked great against the Colts, but will they provide consistency? Buffalo tore up Seattle last weekend. We'll see if they can become the class of the AFC East with no more Brady.
Also, one other note, howtheyscored enters all your results into Excel so, please follow the following format where the winner is bolded (these are his predictions from last week):
Arizona @ 49ers: 24 – 27
Chicago @ Indianapolis: 7 – 20
Minnesota @ Green Bay: 25 – 14
Denver @ Oakland: 19 – 13
Seattle @ Buffalo: 17 – 23
Tampa Bay @ New Orleans: 13 – 35
Any questions, let us know.

So close...
I couldn’t be happier that you’re taking Philly over Dallas and Carolina over Chicago. If only you’d gone with Cassel over Favre, I could have told you to get out of my head.
Alas…

one small step for WJackalope, one giant leap for prediction kind
49ers @ Seattle – 16-23. Sorry kids, I’m picking against our boys until they win.
Pittsburgh @ Cleveland – 27-20. Should be a fun game but I think the Steelers take it.
Philadelphia @ Dallas – 23-28. Another fun showdown. Might be closer in Philly.
Chicago @ Carolina – 17-20. The Bears impressed last week, but so did the Panthers. This one I’m not so sure about.
Buffalo @ Jacksonville – 20-17. Upset special!
New England @ New York Jets – 24-27. Sorry Beantown, the reign is over.
