That's a direct quote, you know. I talked to him after the game this week. He actually said that. Or something like that. Or, well, something in that ballpark, anyway. There were "shalls," and later on somewhere there were "thous." I'm not sure what the whole thing meant, but I'm pretty sure the gist was about the Niners Nation Prediction Games, and how they were, are, or will be good.

Frankly, I found the whole interview very confusing.

So hey, I guess Isaac Bruce was right after all! The prediction game results were good! I knew that guy was good for something.

wjackalope managed to pad his lead only the smallest bit, and has some REAL competition coming in and nipping at his heels. Two guys who scored this week for the first time all season managed to round up perfect predictions in the Arizona / Washington game. I'm inclined to sarcastically thank Fooch for picking what was apparently the easiest game in the world for that one.

So, you know, thanks a lot, Fooch!

But it really adds a flair to this week, and shows everybody how quickly things can turn in this game. It wasn't just proudcanadian99 and CB30 making waves in their first weeks of scoring. marcello also threw his first points on the board in a big way, jumping over what we'll call the "howtheyscored line," and straight into a tie for 8th. Ninjames, in his first week of competition, scored 2 wins this week for 6 points, and catapulted just below the "howtheyscored line." This was a good week for guys who came in with 0 points.

What about me, you ask? Well, I was going to be humble and everything as long as I didn't have much of a good week, but since you asked... I did alright. I shot myself in the foot a little, but scraped a couple of points together, and I'm hanging just below the top ten, which is just below where I want to be hanging.

Fooch is quietly hanging around the top, which I believe is all part of his big hustle. He's going to let us forget about him and then strike while the greased pig is hot.

And a special shout out to montasmob69, who put together what was easily the most consistent, solid week of the lot of us, picking up points in 4 of the 6 games, and making a case to be a name to watch. After all, over the long haul, the guy who gets close in 4/6 games a week is going to beat the guy who gets a couple high scoring rolls along the way.
