2009 NFL Draft Early Entrants and All-Time Team
I'm going to be a little busy most of this morning with class so I thought I'd throw up a little something extra for now, to go with the 49ers free agents post from earlier this morning. Buffalo Rumblings came up with a list of early entrants so far with the deadline set for tomorrow for underclassmen to declare. I also posted that list after the jump if you're interested in checking it out.
Also, I am planning on posting the next All-Time team vote/selection this afternoon for safety and was curious what people thought about the format. Originally I was thinking one of two options: 1) Have a free safety and a strong safety; 2) Have two general safety positions. We know who the free safety in option 1 would be, but given that there are a good mix of free and strong safeties in 49ers history, maybe voting on the second safety as just a safety in general would allow for greater options.
Please vote on it and if you have any comments feel free to post them as well.

When is Nate Davis projected to be taken?

2nd round
He was bad in his final two games, but he still has the measurables, skillset, etc. that makes NFL coordinators jizz in their pants.
I have no new information on that at this time.

They really should just start taking their pants off first.
My Dave Righetti is better than your Dave Righetti.

That’s a special time reserved for Tim Tebow and Brett Favre.
I have no new information on that at this time.

I hear that they only do that during halftime.

Fooch – is there an official “draft discussion” thread? Or should I create one?
I think it’s time for such a thread that’s dedicated to the topic, especially since the early entry deadline is soon, the Shrine game practises have started, etc.
I have no new information on that at this time.

It's Fooch's site and all...
… but I think that just creating topic-specific fanposts/threads would be the best way to go. It just keeps the discussion to the point. If there is some kind of general thread, it could take off into 20425 directions really fast. That’s just my opinion, though.
There are still three months between now and the draft. There will be plenty of fanposts about potential draftees, mock drafts, and all that.

thread
Good question. I’ll create an official one in the next hour or so, ok? I only suggest that b/c it would look more official coming from me. And I’ll set it up as a FanPost so I can keep it near the top, cool? Specific fanposts are certainly allowed but it’d be nice to have one general one for this and that.

Okay, cool.
Can you make sure to mention my name somewhere in the fanpost? I wanna be e-famous!
I have no new information on that at this time.
