Wow

Coach just dragged Dre Bly out, tail firmly between his legs.

I don’t get to catch many of these, but it seems like it’s pretty unprecedented for the coach to cede the podium to a player?

At least Dre seems to get that what he did was “completely inappropriate”. Good on you, Coach.

Totally appropriate to have Bly come out and apologize

What he did was foolish and a bad example too the young players. His comments after the game were even more inapropriate! He came out and defended his stupid actions by saying “I am gonna be me”. That was horse shite. He put himself over the team and cost the team a possession that they desperatly needed. It was foolish to lose the ball dancing. It was just plain stupid for him to try and defend his action. I am glad Singletary called him to task for this. It wasn’t the reason they lost, but it was inexcusable and the quote from him after the game was retarded.

Another year, another chance to hope for the team !!

Appreciated the respect Coach showed him, definitely did not appear to be anything but from the heart by Dre.

Plus the clarification that this was not a “scapegoat”, but that it was something Dre felt he had to do after speaking with Coach.

I’m stunned, this move today is about as good as that game was bad yesterday.

I didn’t see it but I will definitely check it out later. I was definitely one of the people upset at Bly for the celebration and even more so for his post-game comments. It’s good to know he manned-up.

I don’t blame Bly for being a reason we lost, I just hate to see that kind of attitude from a player, especially a player on my favorite team. Had Nate Clements or Spencer done the same thing I would be calling for their heads as well, like I’ve said before being down 25 points leave you absolutely NO reason to celebrate anything.
