AFC Team?
I'm just trying to forget about what happened yesterday and enjoy the rest of Columbus Day. I thought of maybe posting a question up 'Nation. A lot of people are jumping on the Broncos, Jets, Colts, Ravens, Patriots, Steelers, Bengals(although i like them) bandwagons. Hey how about the Texans? Yeah they are 2-3,(soon to be 3-4 when we play them). Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson are a pair that are dominating this year. Andre Johnson, in my opinion, is the best damn reciever in Football. The Texans might be a sneaky wild card team, as they almost came back down 21-0 on the road in Arizona. If I had to pick a AFC team, the Texans are it. If not them, bring up the Bengals.
P.S. I had to make the choices on the poll multiple for one because it wouldn't allow more than 4

Texans!
Andre Johnson is amazing. Mario Williams is a beast. Owen Daniels is solid. Steve Slaton is speedy.
Go 49ers
Jets
That’s right.
I’ve got too many Jets players on my Fantasy roster.
Ray Rice has made me like the Ravens too.

Jets finally exposed tonight
Their interior run defense cannot hold up if attacked during the course of a game.
Justin Smiley
Where I have heard that name before? Oh that’s right . . . when we had an offensive line.
Yeah I've started to hate them now
Not because of the loss.
But because they refused to throw to Dustin Keller or Jericho Cotchery (the guys on my fantasy team).
I still won my matchup (Miles Austin ftw) but Braylon Edwards just destroyed my fantasy team.

Rec'd for the truth
If you have more than one team you support, you’re not a real fan

I don't support the Jets or Ravens
I just like watching them play because they bring me fantasy success.

Not about
to start calling out somebody’s fandom because they’ve got an AFC team.
Remember, as recently as a year ago some of us had to cheer for a winning team if only to save our sanity and wash the stench of losing off our psyche. Since the NFC is our competition more often than the AFC, I think picking an AFC team makes a lot of sense and allows a lot of us to express our inner “bandwagoner”.
49er 'til I die! (if they don't kill me first)
you don't play fantasy football?
It must be boring to just watch one game every week.
What are you going to do for the bye week?

I said
I only support the Niners.. Never said I don’t watch football other than that.
I love all football. But I don’t really root for anyone else.. Except my fantasy football players, yes.

I have a fantasy team also
But I don’t find myself caring who wins or loses the game. If Larry Fitzgerald catches 10 passes for 190 yards with 3 TD’s I’m good with that. If AZ loses in that scenario that is actually good for the Niners. So I am not sure how routing for an entire team justifies it when you only should care about one player from the team.
With RBs you kind of have to cheer for the team.
Or at least that’s what I do with DeAngelo Williams.
When Carolina falls behind I’m screwed.

Dolphins
My AFC team is the Dolphins although I am a diehard Niners fan. I grew up rooting for the Niners and Dan Marino so I still have a soft spot for the Dolphins. That was a great game last night. I love their college style of play, it makes their games pretty exciting. Ronnie Brown and Ricky WIlliams are just solid.
