I remember Shane Boyd at Kentucky
He split some time with the Hefty Lefty Jared Lorenzen (who later carried a clipboard for Eli Manning) before finally having the starting job to himself during his senior year. He could have had a real fine collegiate career if he hadn’t been unfortunate enough to play behind such a big arm.
Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."
