Good people of the Niners Nation
I see your fine site is very active even on a bye week.
This is a credit to you theNiner faithful!!!
I just wanted to say that theyre are a goodly number of us at Daily Norseman who are not thrown off by your last game and still believe in the Niners.
If youll recall it was not all that long ago the Vikes got drubbed by the Packers. What Im getting at is, keep the faith
because in the big picture things are going in the right direction and i still hope to see you in the playoffs.
For your entertainment, go to DN and under recent fanposts click on expert picks Ravens vs. Vikings game and

Hope to see ya in the post season!!!!!!!!
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Niners Nation's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Niners Nation's writers or editors.

Thank God
Not another thread discussing who the 49ers may/want/need to draft in the 1st round. . . . it’s Week 6! The draft isn’t the main event, it’s a constellation prize.

I think you mean constipation prize.
I'm thinking but nothing's happening.

yea
i’m really over it also i mean maybe one or two convos to be busy but it seems like a new one everyday.
our team is really young aside from a few vets and few positions that need upgrades. because of age.

The draft isn’t the main event, it’s a constellation prize.
I’ve read this like 15 times now. Still can’t figure out what in the hell you were talking about.

What I meant
It’s the draft, it’s not football. It’s a freaking hold over until the season starts again.
Really, I get the impression poster love the draft more than watching the actual games based on the number of posts.

The draft involves college football.
It’s still football.
The draft is being shaped by the football being played on Saturday.

a prize given to a contestant who does well but does not win, or who wins in a match for those previously defeated
A hearty thank you to Rich Aurilia for all the good memories, and to the Niners for finally getting the uni's (mostly) right.

Yeah, I know what a consolation prize is.
My confusion is based on the fact that even if he didn’t completely butcher the phrase, it still wouldn’t make any sense at all in that context.

crazy
A Vikings fan believes in the 49ers more than some of the people on here (including myself).
Pretty cool.

49ers are the only team that had them on the ropes
They have steam rolled everyone else. Not to mention most teams lack to balls to even challenge the Williams Wall . . . I think the Viking fans liked that about 49ers. It didn’t work, but manning up an effort showed some backbone.

Hence
The reason I feel that we will meet in the post season.
I see a really good talent base and head coach mindset there in SF!!!

My Vikes held on with a little help from lady luck again.
we got a bit dinged up . It will be an interesting injury report this week as we head to Pittsburgh.
But we are now 6-0 baby!!!! Looking and hoping for your team to come off the bye breathing fire!!!!!!!!! Lets see this post season thing become a reality. Best wishes

Ray Rice still lit you up though
I’m convinced he’s the best and most complete running back in the AFC.
Absolutely unstoppable…..
Good luck against PIT, I hate them.

He's good
3 games in row the Ravens haven’t turned to him until the 4th Quarter. It’s time to fit Cam Cameron with concrete boots.

Willis McGahee always takes them backwards.
Why would they use him on 1st downs?
It’s almost an automatic loss of 1.
