Cushing
I heard on NFL Network a bit ago that he may not suit up

I suppose...
… that’s the same as questionable.

According to the local news who just interviewed Kubiak both Mario and Cushing are ready to play.
He said they just didn’t want to aggravate their injuries.

Heres the wrap-up after practice today.
Head Coach Gary Kubiak
(on the health status of his team) “Oh, we’re good. Cush (LB Brian Cushing) practiced today. He’s ready to go. Like I said, we’re pretty much on schedule with what we were last week. (DE) Mario (Williams) took all his reps. We’re fine. (S Bernard) Pollard was back to work today, feeling fine. So it looks like right, it’s still (S) Nick (Ferguson) and (LB Jamie) Winborn going into the game.”

Poor Alex
Poor alex, did you hear what sing said about him today? He was asked if alex is looking good in practice and sing said yes but that you can get anyone off the street and they can look good in practice. Then he said that Alex will get better. LOL . Poor alex ! At least he is rich !

Yeah I saw that
Poor Alex, indeed.
What we've got here is a failure to communicate.

Actually that was a good reply from Sing as any other positive reply would have created a potential QB controversy
IE: if Sing had said. “Yes, He has been looking real good in practice and also worked with Crabtree and Gore in the Bye week” then the news would have been. “Sing praises Smith and may be looking at replacing Hill with Smith soon”

Injury significance
Do you think that when a player is listed questionable that even if they play, their play will be limited or less effective? Or is it usually a matter of getting a pain shot and going out there playing like nothing’s wrong?

Sometimes its diversion
by teams listing their players “questionable” when they’re really 100% or just mildy knicked up to phsyc the other team out. And others times it is ligit and will be a factor. It’s really hard to tell sometimes when players are liste “questionable” on just how “questionable” they really are. It’s a game of chess

Not phsyc the other team out… lemme rephrase to make the other team beleive that they will have an advantage when really they would not

I think..
… the diversions are usually the “probables.” I’m pretty sure the injury reports are filled out in good faith and that there’s probably a rule stating the player actually has to have some sort of substantiated injury (it just doesn’t have to be revealed to fans or the media).

Maybe
that sounds logical anyway. I’m sure that there’s loop holes in everything though. Not sure how well a rule like that would be monitored or gauged. I know that every little thing is probably being reported now after the whole Jets-Favre thing

Depends on the injury
Some guys get one nagging injury and are on the report all season, usually as questionable, but still play every week. It can mean that his numbers of snaps played will be reduced and if the team gets up or down double digits in the 4th he might get pulled to save him for the next game.
Great players will still be effective just perhaps less so. But even an injured Mario is a threat to make that one big play on 3rd & long, so expect him to play especailly in passing situations.
You gotta bring ass to get ass.

does their kicker kick with his right foot?
That could be big on longer FG attempts
