New Blog: World Soccer Digest for Soccer Fans!

Rush Limbaugh is trying to buy them. Unfortunately, he seems to be teaming up with somebody who actually knows how to run a sports organization. Maybe Rush can leverage his relationship with God and the Christian right to get more fans' butts into seats. Though they may have to get rid of that blue...

I personally love Rush

But thanks for trying to insult God and Christians, that was classy.

Maybe

Rush just might be exactly what the Rams need to become a respectable team. BTW, why make religion (or politics) an issue when it’s really all about football?

The NFL will never approve a Rush ownership.

I’m confident that the last thing NFL owners want to do is to inject politics into their massively successful product. The last time Rush had an NFL gig, it only took two games before he commented that Donovan McNabb wasn’t a good QB and only had the job because of racial political correctness in the NFL. I really doubt the NFL would want an owner who can’t help but inject racial politics into everything he touches. My guess is that he’s considered a risk to the NFL’s approximately $40bil asset base and would never be approved as an owner.

Personally i don’t have a problem with him wanting a team. I don’t think hes going to try and talk politics when he is an owner of a team.

He wasn't supposed to insert politics when commenting either.

But it only took two games for him to break his pledge and was kicked off the air because of that. Do you really think the other NFL owners want to take a $billion chance he won’t break his word again?
