Now or later
I know there will be a million crabtree fan post, but my concern is...is this a bad time? I know the sooner the better, but we have a tough opponent coming up in the atlanta falcons. How will Crabtree's new teammates embrace him? We have a good thing going right now. Good team chemistry. we we'll need to be 100% focused to take on a upcoming falcons team. Obviously it would have been much better to have gotten the deal done before the season got underway, but do ya'll think the deal should have struck during our bye week? Also its funny how braylon edwards sign to the jets like exactly when we landed a deal with Crabs. Edwards been on the block since the beginning of training camp. makes you wonder Ehh? I still would love compensation for tampering
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Niners Nation's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Niners Nation's writers or editors.

Jets
I also thought that was funny . I think it just adds more fuel to the fire. Not really proof, but it doesn’t make them look any more inecent either.
The Jets, if they were tampering,
were tampering for next year. I don’t think they took Edwards because Crabtree signed. Crabtree wouldn’t have been able to play this year. Unless they had thought that Crabs was good enough to wait for him, and then just “settled” on Braylon. But I don’t think that is the case.
Alaska is a state, dammit! Can I get a Niner game on TV up here?
Well.
You don’t acquire Edwards without thinking about next year, too. Edwards is still really young and is one of the league’s better WRs.
True. He should be doing better, though.
I wonder if he’ll drop fewer balls in NY?

Doing better.
Well, I’m sure the Jets are loads better than the CleLOLland Browns, rookie QB be damned.
He better FAIL (and get suspended soon)
I don’t need him stealing targets from Jericho Cotchery and Dustin Keller (I own them in FF)

There isn't a game on the schedule ...
… that this team can’t lose if its distracted.
Quite frankly, this seems like about as good a time as there’s likely to be. He won’t be on the active roster this week. He’ll spend the next couple of days primarily with the playbook, then they’ll have the bye week to work him out on the field with the team, get him in synch with everybody else. He can earn some goodwill by coming in and working out every day during the bye week, even when other players get some extra days off.
I'm actually hoping
Things stay the same or get better.
If the Niners suck it up against the Falcons then we can start blaming Crabs for ruining our chemistry. However, for now, I say we stay the same. Singletary seems to have this situation under control. And if there is one person who can turn this lemon into lemon-aid then it is Sing.
Aside from Morgan I don't see this as a distraction.
Just depends where he is brought in at slowly. If he is subbed into Morgan’s spot on plays this could be an issue. Frankly I’d sub him in for Bruce from time to time, since I think going forward our 1 and 2 will be Morgan and Crabs wih Jones at 3.

I think Jason Hill will be pissed

we're 3-1 and Hill has how many catches?
He’s not even being utilized, and personally I was pissed since he and Shaun appeared to have great chemistry. Sing said Crabs will start when Hill says we need this guy in the lineup. Hard to believe Hill didn’t want Hill. Maybe he sucks at blocking, and if he does that will not cut it!

A tad off-topic, but
we could be looking at this lineup in the not too distant future.

HB- Glenn Coffee
