Some awesome Singletary-isms from Week 4 versus the Rams
Whitemike1644 posted this yesterday as a FanShot but due to the timing I couldn't get it to the front page. Mike Singletary was mic'd up for the Rams game and there are some classic lines in this video.

I hope this man coaches the 49ers for the rest of his life.

i thought this was front page material.
thanks for moving it fooch.
“chilo is going to make me knock him out!” priceless
Awesome.
He definately has complete command over this team. Its awesome to see. Hopefully people keep listening, because Sing can take this team far.
Sometimes the impossible can become possible if you're AWESOME!
You gotta love it
It’s the real time sound of stuff that we usually only hear about when former players tell stories of what a coach would say after a bad play or dumb mistake.
You gotta bring ass to get ass.
"He's alright....
…he’s from the hood" LMFAO
What a great look into how he’s whooped our Niners into shape – accountability, motivation, makes everyone want to leave it all on the field. Outstanding.
Playoffs??? Playoffs??? We're baaaaack!!!
One of the
Things that was most telling to me in this video, and well I pretty much always assumed it to be the case, but this enforced it. Is that the team really believes in Mike and have the utmost respect for him.
You saw the expressions on the players face when they messed up, they were like ashamed to look at Mike because they know they let him down. You know how it is how you always hate to let someone down that you care for.
Guys really wanted to talk back at certain times but held their tongue.
And the number of yes sir’s you hear during the clip. Again another great show of respect.
Lastly I like how he always talks to the players like they all can achieve greatness.
I am so happy to have Mike running the show.
that's what I like about it
he rides the guy for messing up… but then a few minutes later he’s back saying “forget about that and go out and play, don’t you want to be great?” and encouraging them
A hearty thank you to Rich Aurilia for all the good memories, and to the Niners for finally getting the uni's (mostly) right.
I think some of that is a reflection of the number of young players we have
Who also happen to be the guys making mistakes that require correction.
You gotta bring ass to get ass.
I could watch 20 hours of that
Proud father of Juan Carlos Perez. Think Albert Pujols at a position to be determined.
That was awesome
Hopefully Sing will be here for a long time.

When he says to Takeo that he knows he wants to "party" ...
… it has echoes of his own playing days. Apologies if everyone has seen this video a thousand times, but just in case anyone happens, here’s Coach Sing when he too liked to party at ILB.
"This could be another Very Special Team" ... Superbowl winning Niners lineman Dan Audick ...
I don't think I want to go to any party hosted by Coach Sing

There
is a story somewhere – i think one of the commentators either Phil Simms or Boomer Esiason were talking about their playing days and playing against the old Bears. This was during one of the games they were calling. Anyways they said when they played the Bears, Singletary and Dave Duerson would bark at them. Not bark as in yelling taunts or threats….barking like dogs. Can you imagine playing QB and Singletary is staring at you with those eyes barking at you like dog? F-That.
