oh, I got plenty of hope

definitely started Alex smith in two of my fantasy leagues because both my Qbs are on a bye. He was the most viable FA option

I hope this isn't Raye's gameplan
I don’t see us winning with any other game plan If our defense can hold tough, a shoot out gives us the best chance to win in my opinion.

HEY EVERYONE!!!!

FYI…for some reason, my player rankings post didn’t get up on the website this morning. I’ve added it for the time being as a FanPost. Here’s the link:

http://www.ninersnation.com/2009/11/1/1109950/football-outsiders-and-the-49ers

It’s really short by my standards as I didn’t even post all of the stats that I normally do. Basically, I try to answer one question, which, because this is a game thread, I can say like this: “What the fuck happened to Shaun Hill?”

So, if you want to kill about 5 minutes before game time, go over and take a look at it. I think you might have some opinions about my answer.

Just ‘cause you all have to go messing with the clocks I have to wait ’till 11 o’clock for the early games now. Thanks a lot.

Doesn't sound good for VD against the Colts.

According to ESPN Fantasy:

The Colts have limited opposing tight ends to 11 fantasy points in six games, best in the league, and they rarely ever surrender much in terms of passing yards. The chances of Davis scoring a touchdown are poor.

Amy Mainzer my brain thinks your brain is HOT!

by cybermaldonado on Nov 1, 2009 9:54 AM PST reply actions

one thing to keep in mind

is the team’s Indy has gone up against. Jacksonville, Miami, Arizona, Seattle, Tennessee and St. Louis.

John Carlson is the best TE they have faced, and the Titans are the only TE-oriented pass offense they’ve faced. The stats are a bit misleading.

by Andrew Davidson on Nov 1, 2009 9:59 AM PST up reply actions

IND...

is ranked 9th vs. TEs according to DVOA, which adjusts for opponents.

Well, I’m glad we held them to three.

What was Manning audibling?

It sounded like “Draft board, draft board, buckle up!”

Or maybe I’m having an acid flashback.

We really do. We can’t rely on the d holding them to fg for much long

Red zone defense

Once again is good. Amazing how much better the D plays when they know our offense will be competent.

instead of going back on the field after 3 plays.

Okay, we need to get Frank going again on this drive. Hopefully that will set up the play-action and open up the offense a little.

We’ve been running a decent amount and it’s been our best offense so far.

Who designed the stadium?

Why would you design a football field to have the sun shining in your eyes? Should have built it so the sun moves side to side of the field…

Play for lengthy offensive stints -

Keep the D fresh. They’ll win the game for us as long as Smith and Company just toss up some more points (even just a few) on the board and make the drives last. They can win this.
