pass protection, Alex Smith, play calling

With the mIsmatches between our Oline and their pass rush, 49er pass plays have very little time to develop. Their secondary can play tight, and I don’t think Raye dares to call a play with a 7 step drop.

Alex Smith is doing superbly well. He is very rushed and pressured on almost every pass play and still doing a good job and looking poised.

I don’t think any QB would look better with this little time to throw.
