Isn't Singletary the biggest Bad(three letter word) you have ever seen?
This guy, this coach, he's unbelievable. Yeah, we lost a close, clooose game today. But he keeps his head up, positive. I loved that little piece in his press conference where he said(now correct me if i'm wrong), "We're gonna look at the film. We're going to come in on wednesday and work hard. We are going to get enough wins to make the playoffs, it's that simple." Confidence? Man this dude is off the chain, i simply laughed at that, and it made me feel good inside that we have a coach that can flat out say that. If we could, Fooch, can we change the quote against the Vikings to this quote, because I believe it's a little stronger, and he flat out said it, with no hesitation. Singletary, you are a bad....yeah

3rd loss in a row...
I’d hold back on the playoff speak a bit.
Well, we're waiting....

Why?
Why we’re only a game back of the Cardinals.

Yeah, but this is the second time...
Sing mentioned playoffs after a loss. It’s great to have that mentality, but get to the playoffs first, not talk about them after a loss.
Well, we're waiting....

We almost beat the colts!!! Thats a huge morale boost I think you know how the giants almost beat the pats in the last game of 2007. Sing knows what hes doing.
49ers Al Grito De Guerra!!! hahaha

Again.....
The 49ers have to end a 3 game slide first before talking playoffs. It’s been a month since they have won a game, that isn’t in their division.
Well, we're waiting....

So? Were any of the losses in the division?
Nope. The 49ers are on top of the division, they have the easier road to travel to get to the playoffs.

I don't know
Arizona has a pretty soft schedule the rest of the way.
The 49ers have a lot of work to do. The Titans aren’t going to be a cake-walk and the Bears aren’t going to lay down in Primetime on NFLN.
I agree with Drummer, while I don’t think Sing should’ve pulled out a page from Jim Mora’s “Playoffs!!??” book, he certainly shouldn’t be talking about playoffs after this loss. The team, in all reality has to go 7-2 (at worst) to make the playoffs. You don’t go 7-2 when you don’t take each game one at a time.

Arizona lost to Carolina and Jake Delhomme
Their “awesome” run D got plowed.
I don’t buy any of that easy schedule garbage.
What we've got here is a failure to communicate.

Arizona has a soft schedule?
They just lost to the Carolina Panthers a team that has been struggling all year, not only that but DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart gutted the run defense of the Cardinals.
Do you think Chicago is not going to look at that? What about the Vikings? The Packers? Yes, Tennessee will be interesting but for the Cardinals especially if Chris Johnson plays like he did against Jacksonville.
I don’t think the 49ers will have a hard time or overlook Tennessee either, the 49ers also have a better defense than the Cardinals. The only games that the 49ers should really be concerned about are Philadelphia and Green Bay.
The Cardinals have Minnesota, Green Bay, and San Francisco. Is 7-2 doable? Absolutely!

yes, the Cards lost to the Panthers, but
DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart gutted the run defense of the Cardinals.
Anybody who has watched the Panthers play this year knows that those two guys would gut any defense they went up against—if they were given the chance. This year, Delhomme has been atrocious and yet the Panthers’ coaching staff consistently calls passing plays that make the game ride on Delhomme’s arm. And Delhomme, as I said, has been atrocious. He’s thrown a ton of picks—and this has meant that the Panthers have been behind and have had trouble running the ball because, well, they’re behind. That Panthers-Cards game basically went according to the Panthers best-possible script; get ahead early, run the ball, and don’t make Delhomme win the game for you.

my point
is that the Cards’ loss is neither a ‘good-team-beaten-by-bad-team’ loss (because the Panthers can be a good team) nor an indication that the Cards are likely to continue losing (unless we can expect 6 turnovers from Warner every week).

I disagree
The only games that the 49ers should really be concerned about are Philadelphia and Green Bay
The 49ers should only be concerned with the game they are slated to play in the current week of the season. They shouldn’t worry about who Arizona is playing, who they play next week, or who they play in 4 weeks time.
They need to focuse on each week and take it one game at a time.

Ha! Famous last words.
Wanna know who I’m really concerned about? THE TITANS.
Its a MUST win game. And anyone who is sanguine about us winning it is just asking for a humiliating loss. And believe you me the shirt will hit the flan if we do. It won’t be just classless Indy fans all over Sing’s case…
The future ain't what it used to be.

Titans have some mo' going with VY at QB
It would’ve been nice to have faced them in the 1st third of the season. Sadly, we’re not that lucky.
