My Top 3 Favorite Teams and My Top 3 least favorited teams
As I watched the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys play on Sunday, I remembered how much I really hate these teams, in fact I hate most of the NFC East except for one team. Being a football fan I like other teams also but I love my 49ers dearly. I would like to know others most favorited and hated teams also.
Most favorite teams
1. San Francisco 49ers: By a LONG SHOT!
2. Oakland Raiders: Its the hardest thing in the world but I do root for the Raiders. When they win there fans dont look as crazy?
3. Philadelphia Eagles: I hate every team from the NFC East except this team. I HATE the Eagles fans especially last season when they were complaining to get rid of Andy Reid and McNabb, how you feel when your playing in the NFC Championship game all of the sudden.
Most Hated Teams
1. New York Giants: I hate everything about them, the team, the coach, the media and most of all Eli Manning.
2. Dallas Cowboys: Do I have to explain?
3. Washington Redskins: I do not know why but maybe something to do with Joe Theisman. I am going to add some teams in the top of the pack as far as teams I like and dislike.
Teams who I sort of like
Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers: I respect the franchises and they are the reasons why the NFL is the NFL.
Teams who I sort of hate
New Orleans Saints: This is a more recent disliking of a team. We seem to make Reggie Bush look like a superstar everytime we play. I felt the refs kind of gave them some leeway during that Katrina year.
Cleveland Browns: Why are they even an NFL team? Demote them to a UFL team please.
Buffalo Bills: Lose 4 super bowls in a row and you want some respect? No thanks you are just the laughing stock of the NFL.
Who are your most favorite and most hated teams?

Top 3 Teams:
1. 49ers (there are no others that I would consider myself loyal to)
“Favourite” AFC Teams:
1. Kansas City Chiefs
2. Houston Texans (aside from when they beat the 49ers)
3. Cincinnati Bengals (jumped on the bandwagon this year)
3 Least Liked Teams:
1. Pittsburgh Steelers
2. Seattle Seahawks
3. Arizona Cardinals
I also do not like the Redskins, Cowboys, Packers or Ravens. I don’t really like any of the teams in AFC East, except for the Bills. I don’t mind any of the teams in the AFC South (except for when they beat the 49ers). The Browns are harmless, the Raiders are useless and I could not care less about the Chargers. The Broncos I’m pretty much indifferent about, but for this season I’d like to see them make it to the Super Bowl (their 2010 First rounder is Seattle’s).
I don’t mind any of the teams in the NFC South, althoug the Bucs are pathetic and I’m rooting against the Panthers because we have their 2010 1st rounder. I’ve got no beef with the Lions (who can?), Bears or Vikings (except that whole Brett Favre guy).
My only loyal feelings are for the 49ers, and I really only “hate” the Steelers and Seahawks. You can imagine how much I threw up during Super Bowl XL.

broncos
yeah, when the broncos were 6-0, I kind of had this fantasy that they’d silence the ’72 dolphins by beating the bears in the super bowl to go 19-0. oh well.
My favorite team without a doubt is the 49ers. it’s in my blood.
other teams I will root for if not playing the 49ers
New Orleans Saints: I really like Drew Brees and he doesn’t get as much love as he should because of Peyton and Brady
Philadlphia Eagles: they’re a pretty fun team to watch and Mcnabb seems like a pretty cool dude. Also Desean Jackson is amazing and it still hurts that we passed on him twice in the draft =(
teams I hate
Dallas Cowboys: come on show me a Niner fan who doesn’t hate them.
Oakland Raiders: this is mostly because a lot of my friends are Raider fans and I hate dealing with their trash talk whenever they win (which does not happen often haha)
3. Minnesota Vikings: Brett Favre.. need i say more?

another team I really dislike is Arizona especially for what Kurt Warner pulled in the offseason

NFL
I’m speaking with somebody at the NFL in a couple hours. Once I get confirmation on what exactly will be shown at that link I’ll post it on the front page so everybody can see it.

Other than 49ers
and when they do not playing, and if and when they are in the playoffs, I enjoy watching:
1.Bengals
2.Texans
3.Panthers
I hate:
1. Patriots
2. Cowboys
3. Steelers
Teams
Top 3
1. 49ers
2. kind of like the Colts
3. ehh, i guess the Bucs
Hate:
3. Raiders
2. Cowboys
1. tie between the Packers and the Cardinals
“Flyover” teams – I seriously do not understand why these teams even exist, except so that the 49ers and other more interesting teams can have 16 games to play each season, I guess. However, if two of these teams ever play each other i end up flipping the channel to MTV cribs reruns:
Kanas City Chiefs
Buffalo Bills (I didn’t even realize they were based out of NY until I was 25, I thought they played somewhere out west)
Jaguars (maybe if FL combines all three of their franchises, they’ll have a shot at the playoffs, wa waa)
Tennessee Titans
Washington Redskins
I really thought about this
Top 3:
1. 49ers
Top 3 Hate:
1. Any team in the NFC East
2. The rest of the NFL
Occasionally there is a football team I’ll take interest in for a season but by next season I end up loathing that franchise again. Easily, I hate all NFC East teams above the rest: Cowboys, Giants, Redskins and Eagles. Could not figure out who I hated the most. Each has had their time as most hated. Each has remained absolutely hated throughout.

Mine is Five
I have four teams that I really like and root for, 2 because of growing up with my family (we all like different teams)
1. 49ers
2. Texans
3. Eagles
4. Broncos (Brother)
5. Vikings (Dad)
And then I have he 5 teams I can’t stand and LOVE to see them lose
1. Patriots
2. Steelers
3. Cowboys
4. Bears (off topic but I love there orange jerseys)
5. Raiders
And I know it's wierd
But I’ve always liked the Cardinals. I KNOW they are division rivals but I still like them. So long as we beat them and are ahead in the standings I root for ’em =]
Of course the 49ers are my favorite team
Other teams I kind of like not in any order:
Vikings
Texans
Chargers
Teams I hate not in any order:
Raiders
Rams
Seahawks
Cardinals
Cowboys
Packers
just to say some other things I hate/
I hate the Browns helmets

I hate how the steelers’ logo is only one one side
Go 49ers
Other than niners

1. Cowboys

Proud Son of Tobias
My best/worst teams
best
1. 49ers all the way!
2. Whichever is the next team to come to Los Angeles.
Worst
I don’t care about the rest but I hate the cowboys, steelers, our division rivals, packers, Vikings, falcons, colts, basically you get it, alot of teams.
I guess
you will go crazy if the 49ers move to LA?
How many times has Joe Montana thrown an interception in a super bowl?
Haha I doubt that will happen
But if it did (which again I 99% doubt) it wouldn’t change my opinion on my niners, I would still love the heck out of em!

Love L.A
As I love my lakers (world champions) , angels (got a halo on my cap). The only reason I would want 49ers in L.A. Is they would be closer to where I live but I know it’s not gonna happen and I still love them in San Fran :)

Nice post
Not here to troll, but I thought I would comment.
1.Bears: lifelong Chicagoan, bleed blue and orange.
2. Saints: Scary good (on both sides of the ball now?), entertaining to watch, and none of that smug Patriots attitude.
3. Steelers: I like their style of football and I grew up with/went to school with one of their players. I like Troy’s hair.
4. 49ers: Still a fan your coach. PW looks quite good. Been to SF & enjoyed it.
5. Ravens: Liked their D end of last season.
1. Colts: Hate the Payton Manning show. Football is a team sport.
2. Cowboys: Never liked them, especially when they were weak early this season and people kept saying how good they were.
3. Raiders: Al Davis is a loon, Tom Cable can only beat ex-wives and assistant coaches. They’re an embarrassment.
4. Dolphins: Man, am I sick of the Wildcat.
5. Chargers: Rivers is a douche. They never live up to the hype. I also hate seeing Ron Rivera there. Come back Ron!
6. Bills: There’s no excuse for losing to the Browns 6-3. Thank god the Bears got rid of Jauron.
Rivers is better than Eli
So, what’s your problem with Rivers? Because he tells it like it is and can back it up?
Giants
Niners

Dodgers
Cowboys

Peopl I hate
I realized watching the pre-game coverage of the 49ers game yesterday that I really have Deion Sanders. Anyone else with me on that?
MY Teams
Okay My absolute favorite is the 49ers!
My current Top three other teams in order:
1. Any team beating the Cards!
2. Any team beating the CowGirls!
3. Any team beating the Patriots! (Steelers are close if not a tie)
- Honorable Mention, The Bucs, I was stationed there for 4 1/2 years and I love that area.
Well guess you can figure out who I don’t like!
11-5... My 49ers pre-season prediction!
Why?
Favre is gone, and they haven’t stolen any SB appearances from us lately….
What we've got here is a failure to communicate.

I've had little to no internet access the last month, but now I'm back and finally finishing up a review of "The Football Fan's Manifesto"
Here’s a quick Tunison quote for a taste -
More important than knowing who to love is knowing who to hate. All the best sensations of football fandom flow from the life-sustaining waters of schadenfreude and enmity. What can otherwise be a pedestrian game between non-contending teams can be made instantly enthralling with the simple addition of a little undisguised contempt.
As a rule of thumb, you should harbor an active dislike for all the thirty-one NFL teams other than the one you have adopted as your own. Anyone who says they have a “second favorite team” probably has a second favorite creature that they like to have sex with. However, there should be a small handful of teams for whom you reserve your most fervid store of hate. The very sight of these teams’ logos or players should invoke murderous urges that would get you jailed if you ever acted upon them.
Most rivalries are based on commonsense reasons, like regional proximity or a history of important head-to-head contests. Others don’t really make any (our site decorum) sense at all, but are still fun to watch. If you’re confused about which franchise is your team’s rival, merely observe which team’s merchandise gets burned the most in the parking lot of your team’s home field. That’s usually a reliable indicator.
pg. 40
And yes, when I post the review, I’ll try and use his quotes with minimal or edited out language for the site decorum rules.
"We’ll see them again in the playoffs." - Mike Singletary, right after the Week 3 Minnesota game
I’m glad someone at least brought this viewpoint up. Yes, there is a group of fans who believe having a 2nd favorite team is like sleeping with your sister.
Football fan
I just love Football and watching other teams is a given since the 49ers have been terrible for the last 5 or so years. I have also rooted for teams to beat like the Cardinals or other NFC West teams and it made me hate that team even more when I root for them and they lose.
How many times has Joe Montana thrown an interception in a super bowl?
Top 3
1Niners by a longshot I like their explosive offense. I’ve had some memorable madden moments w/ this team
2 Eagles
Hate:
Any other team, especially Cards, Vikes, Pats, and Cowboys.
Pats dislike might come from jealousy
teams
1. 49ers 2. Chargers 3. None
Hate
1. Cowboys. 2. Rams(not so much anymore) 3.Pittsburgh
