San Francisco 49ers vs. Chicago Bears - 2nd thread

    49ers_logo_medium vs. Bears_icon_medium

As I said, I'm watching this game on NFL Mobile Live.  It's obviously not as high quality as my 32" HD flatscreen, but it's still really sweet nonetheless.  Andrew Davidson will be back with a recap after the game, but I'll make sure and have new threads posted as others fill up.

GO NINERS!

Remember when Nolan brought Franklin from B-more

and then with that supposed Nolan defensive mind couldn’t figure out how to use him? Glad Manusky did figure it out because he is doing really well.

Yes?

The only time you run a straight streak pattern like that is when you’re lined up in the slot and you want to split the safeties. It obviously wasn’t a skinny post, to it’s his responsibility to be on the sideline – he wasn’t, and he was in a poor position to play the ball.

bad throw

but THIS one, of all the pics smith has thrown this season, is really on the receiver. we can clearly see on that play that had crabtree not stumbled, and instead jumped up for the ball, he would have either come down with it or at least an incompletion…

this interception we can defend, but not the ones he threw last week…

by Waiting4JoshMorgan on Nov 12, 2009 6:16 PM PST reply actions

I mentioned this

in a previous thread regarding Coach Raye’s playcalling, and not too many people wanted to jump on this.

But yes! It is predictable (if you’re referring to the motioning of Morgan on some of Franks run plays). It seems like it’s almost always exclusively a run whenever he does that…

Coach Raye has to change it up and call for a delayed screen pass to Morgan, or at least something of that nature…

Smith needs to let it loose a little more imo
