Jon Gruden signs contract extension with MNF
Anybody else find this particularly interesting? I was convinced it was one and done, but now that doesn't seem to be the case. Interesting...

Jon Gruden reminds me of a low key Dandy Don Meridith.
He does know what he is talking about but he puts his own flavor into the conversation. It is actually nice to have the almost unintentional comic relief on the show
"Whether you think you can, or you think you can't, either way, YOU'RE RIGHT !"
I like Gruden in the announcers booth
I’m not surprised that he decided to stay. Who would he want to go coach for next year?
Especially in this economy
Job security ain’t what it used to be. The best part of the gig: Al Davis cannot be involved.

He has said during broacasts
That he absolutely loves being in the booth. Good for him, even if I find his hyperbolic voice obnoxious sometimes. :-)

During this MNF broadcast Gruden enlightened us with the interesting tidbit that “The Browns have never led a game at any point during this season, except for maybe at the end of that Buffalo game I think.”
He’s not entirely sure that the Browns ever had the lead in game in which they won.
I’m glad that he and his [site decorum]-eating grin will be back.
My facts beat your opinions.
One thing I hate about Gruden
His analysis is ALWAYS “this guy is a football player.”
You can never resist the game... nor could I... we're the same, so don't even try.
Listen, Ninjames, I don’t know if you’ve ever played or coached professional football, but if you had I think you would know that Jon Gruden is almost always right when he says that. It’s the coach’s perspective. Chumps like you who have never even held a clipboard or called a play don’t know what it’s like to see a football player.
Context, people. More context is good. Less context is bad. If you're willing to be reductive, then you're willing to be wrong.

I sure hope you're kidding
I hate it when Gruden says that.
We know those guys are football players.
When I play football at the park I’m a football player too, whoop-de-[site decorum]-do
What we've got here is a failure to communicate.

I like Gruden
But I hate when he and Jaws start feeding off each other, decide they’re hilarious, and Tirico doesn’t reign them back in. Goes downhill fast. But he’s good, and I expect he’ll get better.
Never forget: I am a complete idiot
I like gruden in the booth aswell...
he’s madden-like with some of his hilarious commentary. I also like him saying, “c’mon” and “give me a break” after jaws over analyzes a play…. it paralyzes the guy.
Joe and Steve were under the same system for years... don't expect Smith to be super so soon.
