Packers 23 - 49ers 3: Second half thread
This game has been pretty miserable this far. In fact, it's been quite similar to the home debacle against the Atlanta Falcons. At the half the 49ers have been outgained 362 yards to 57 yards. Shockingly enough, that's just not gonna cut it. So, time for a new thread for the second half.
GO NINERS!

Seven pass attempts over an entire half? What the hell’s going on? Rodgers has 31 attempts, coming primarily in the shotgun. Let’s not forget that their O-line sucks too.
I don’t understand anyone saying they need to be giving Gore the ball more at this point. When you’re down by 20 points, running the ball is never the way to stage a big comeback and conserve the clock. This is when coaches start taking deep shots down the field.
Why not throw to the guy with no defender on him?

They allowed Smith to line up in the shotgun for every single snap of that last drive. Am I the only one who thought that last drive also gave Smith more time to pass than he’s had all day, and was the most impressive drive so far?
Because apparently nobody in a windbreaker is making that connection.
One caveat..
Alex Smith is having a career year!!
I’m convinced that nobody employed by the NFL can give an objective explanation of what exactly constitutes pass interference.

OK, so it appears that in order to have an effective offense we need

lol I was just going to say
should have tackled him on the 20

I saw that too recently. No effort to do that at all. Maybe because they have been tackling so poorly they are focused on that.
If Bochy coached the Warriors Bengie Molina would start every game at PG.

TD drive
Doesn’t matter if its all Gore or all Smith. Just make it a 6-point game. Plenty of time remains.
You gotta bring ass to get ass.
NEW THREAD NOW OPEN
I opened this right before the interception. Clearly a bad idea.
