Here comes Chris Johnson
The only offensive player, that bodes a threat, IMO, what's his over under for the week? Any predictions on his production against our stingy run D? How about our not so stingy dump off defense?

60-80 yds on the ground and maybe 100 receiving (scared of that)

I feel good that we can limit him in yards like we’ve mostly done against all RB’s.
But still he’ll be their best weapon getting TD’s if they get close.
S.Slaton had 2 TD’s for Texans, although we did great against Peyton in the red zone, so as long as no big plays from Johnson we may hold him without a TD aswell bust just FG’s.
We did lose Clements which will hurt the run defense, but I think at the same time the rest of the team knows and it is something that will have to make everyone step up and play even better.

I’m expecting our D to hold him to barely anything.. Look at how we have fared against RBs this year so far..
Week 1 : Hightower – 8 car. 15 yds.
Week 2 : Jones – 8 car. 11 yds.
Week 3 : Peterson – 19 car. 85 yds.
Week 4 : Jackson – 23 car. 79 yds.
Week 5 : Turner – 22 car. 97 yds. 3 tds.
Week 7 : Slaton – 18 car. 67 yds. 1 tds.
Week 8 : Addai – 20 car. 62 yds. 1 tds.
Anyone notice something about the guys whom have tds other than the guys who don’t??
How about this… Turner’s qb Matt Ryan is one of the best in the league with one of the best wrs in the league Roddy White.. Slaton’s qb Matt Schaub is one of the best in the league with one of the best wrs in the league Andre Johnson.. and Addai’s qb Peyton Mannings is one of the best qbs in the leauge with one of the best wrs in the league Reggie Wayne..
What I’m trying to say is those 3 teams are complete teams.. lethal in the run game, and passing game.. What do the Titans have? Nate Washington, Kenny Britt and Justin Gage? who? and their qb is Vince Young.. Isn’t that the guy who played hide and go seek with the cops and his team? All they have is Chris Johnson that’s it.. yes they have Lendale White but he was known for his body mass and he lost most of it during off season so now he is known for his bench warming.. The 49ers are going to want to win this game more than anything and they are going to plow down Johnson, Young and the rest of the Titans in order to get this win… I’m not worried about any dump off passes.. Willis and the rest of the gang will be there to stop them.

Yea good points
and besides those RB’s with complete QB’s and WR’s on the team, notice anything else, the only other ones that have had “average” games are the best RB’s in the game (Jackson and Peterson). We’ve had a pretty tough opponent against the RB’s we play but we have really neutralized them. That makes us look even better for all the remaining games.
Johnson is looking to go 20 carries and 80 yards, like Peterson and Jackson did, and that’s pretty much it.

Trust me, you have not seen anyone like CJ.
If he gets past the D-Line, you aren’t catching him.

Haven't given up a big run yet
But I wouldn’t be surprised if this was the week. We don’t have Clements (who’s excellent in run support), but Mike Lewis should be relatively healthy. We’ll see. As long as he doesn’t hurt us too bad, I think we’ll be alright. He’s had 5 long TDs, which is impressive, but plenty have come against blown assignments/terrible, terrible angles (the pass against Houston, the two 50 yard runs). We’ll see… I’m definitely scared though. Especially without Clements. If Gore can outrush Johnson, we should win.
You have been DFiBrillated.
