Colts players are dropping like flies!!!!!

I have to be honest. After all of the interaction from Big Blue Shoe, I was quite disappointed and annoyed by the attempt to bad mouth our team. But, I realized that honestly this isn't the first interaction that I have had with a Colts fan that went sour. One of the guys in my dorm when I was in college in Ohio was a die hard Colts fan and he honestly acted the same way. Whenever something went wrong for their team it was someone else's fault. He accused teams of cheating (especially when the Colt's were getting dominated by the Patriots) and was honestly the worst winner and worst loser I have ever seen.

All this being said, I can't seem to think and enjoy the fact that Colts players are dropping like flies. According to Adam Schefter's twitter account, "To recap, S Bob Sanders out for year, CB Kelvin Hayden out 1 month, CB Marlin Jackson out for year, WR Anthony Gonzalez out 2 to 3 weeks."

Now, I am never the one to root for injuries or to take pleasure in the fact that someone is physically injured, but I can't seem to think that many Colts fans are getting what they deserve. Sure I envy their 7-0 record, but I sure as heck hope they lose out the rest of the season and lose out in the first round of the playoffs. I'll be rooting for it for the rest of the season and hopefully for many more seasons to come.

Do flies really drop? I’ve never known about this.

Context, people. More context is good. Less context is bad. If you're willing to be reductive, then you're willing to be wrong.

i know, it's cliche

but maybe a better analogy would be something like yellow jackets after they get sprayed with Raid.

I would think their ability to fly would be more notable than when they stop.

Prob has to do with the fact that they have a short life span or something

They only fly for 2-3 days before they die….hence the phrase, “dropping like flies”. At least that’s where I think it derived from

True

but like I said, I don’t want to hope and revel in other people’s injuries. I just want to enjoy the fact that their fans are getting what they deserve. Although I’ll take a win any way it comes. I just know that if Sanders missed that game and we did win, all we would hear from the Colts fans was how we didn’t play their best team and they are still better and they should’ve won.

I don’t think there are too many 49ers fans saying we should’ve won that game…

these injuries fortuanatly wont hurt us too bad i dont think

the one that will have the biggest effect will be hayden but if he can come back healed then we will be fine. was hoping gonzo would be back sooner but it will be fine. well im sorry you hate the colts but we wont lose the rest of our games just cause of the rest of these injuries there is to much talent playing well plus none of these guys have done anything really for us this year. anyway good luck the rest of the way to you guys

GO COLTS!!! 09 IS OURS!!!

Correction

Only one Colts fan deserves . . . still the rest of the good ones have to suffer through the injuries too.

Yea and isn’t one of their starting LB’s also out for the year after our game?

Anyway, i agree, other than that I still like Peyton Manning and atleast wish him the best.

I heard a caller on KNBR the other week… The guy was a Raider fan, and he started talking about how Niner fans act like, even in a loss, their team just dominated. Some such nonsense, I don’t know, it was a stupid caller.

To make a long story short, every fanbase has its butthole fans. Typically, it’s just a matter of meeting the ones who DON’T suck. Don’t think there aren’t Niner fans out there giving us a bad name, too. From what I’ve been seeing, while BBS appears to be a bad fan and a prima donna, ANGELSFAITH seems like a reasonable fan, and generally a good guy. So let’s hang our collective hat on AF.

I'm thinking but nothing's happening.
