Here's the link to the story
pretty sad actually. None of the major schools want to play them which leaves them out in the cold for the BCS bowls.

collusion
Wouldn’t surprise me if it were collusion.

I think it's collusion
And it’s the major reason why I don’t follow college football nearly as closely as I do pro. Every team should have an equal opportunity to fight for a championship and the result should be based on how you actually play, not some selection committee.

Too bad that Orgegon lost though...
Boise State is going to plummet.
What we've got here is a failure to communicate.

Boise State
would get absolutely demolished by the likes of ‘Bama, Florida or Texas. They play a super soft schedule, and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if they get completely exposed in whatever bowl they play this year.

Same thing was said about Utah last year
What happened? They stomped Bama. College football does not begin and end with the big 6. Or, as some would like you to believe, the SEC.
Boise State beat Oklahoma in their only BCS bowl. You can say “Yeah, but trick plays!”, and I’ll say “Scoreboard, you gotta stop the guys in front of you.” And don’t try to tell me Oklahoma doesn’t run trick plays too.
Fact of the matter is that Boise State is a good football team. Nobody wants to play them because if they beat Boise State, Boise State will look bad and it won’t be considered a quality win. If they lose, Boise gets recognition and has a better chance of stealing a BCS spot from someone in their conference. It’s a no win situation. Hooray for college football!

We'll never know
because those schools refuse to play Boise State. It’s a circular argument.
The big schools say that Boise State doesn’t deserve a BCS bowl because it doesn’t play a tough schedule, but they’re the very ones who are refusing to schedule them.
