WHY DID WE LET KORY SHEETS GO
WHY DID WE LET KORY SHEETS GO ???
WHY DID WE LET KORY SHEETS AND BRIT MILLER GO ? THEY WERE BOTH AMAZING AND PLAYMAKERS FOR OUR FUTURE.I THINK THE MAFIA CONTROLS EVERYTHING AND THEY DONT WANT US TO WIN. DIDNT ANYONE WATCH KORY SHEETS AND BRIT MILLER TEAR UP THE PRE-SEASON ? FRANK GORE IS AMAZING, BUT GETS HURT TO EASY, TRYING TO OVER COMPENSATE FOR OUR SUPER WEAK OFFENSIVE LINE. GLEN COFFEE IS WAY OVER RATED. ALL HE CAN DO IS RUN STRAIGHT AHEAD, AND WITH A POOR OFFENSIVE LINE HE IS DOOMED. KORY SHEETS CUTS AMAZINGLY AND HAS AMAZING INSTINCTS TO FIND OPEN HOLES. GLEN COFFEE JUST RUNS RIGHT INTO THE BACKS OF OUR LINEMAN. BRITT MILLER WAS JUST LIKE TOM RATHMAN, SUPER SKILLED AND HARD NOSED. WE NEED NEW TALENT SCOUTS. MAYBE I SHOULD APPLY. I PICKED AARON RODGERS INSTEAD OF ALEX SMITH FOR QUARTERBACK,AND HE IS KICKING BUT WITH A WEAK OFFENSIVE LINE ON THE PACKERS.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Niners Nation's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Niners Nation's writers or editors.

Rodgers vs Smith
You can’t really say that Rodgers would have done good if he was here.
1. Rodgers had a couple of years to understand the offense of the packers
2. He had one of the best QB ever mentor him
3. He hasn’t had a different OC every year since his rookie year
4. Smith had a horrible WRs (06 and 07)
There are probably
isn’t Brit Miller on the practice squad? So he is still apart of the team. As for Coffee, he is a rookie. And the offense and the offensive line are still developing. Sheets hadspotential but its not like it is impossible for him to come back. The sky isn’t falling, so don’t worry. This is a young team so relax.

Bit late to the party wouldn't you say?
Sheets was released a month ago. You registered yesterday just to make this comment?
Sheets was so good that he went undrafted by every team in the league. So good that he couldn’t make the regular team. So good that he’s now the third or fourth back in Miami and has yet to record a stat for them.
Yup, sounds like the future to me.

I like you smileyman
We’ve gone back-and-forth a little the past few days but I respect your opinions.
This is what kills me about Sheets. Mike Singletary has spent almost his entire life in the game of football. I’m pretty sure that he knows more about it than most (ALL) fans. That’s not to say he’s infallible, but when people talk about how unbelievable a player is (like Sheets) they make it sound like Singletary is too stupid to see what everybody else can see with their eyes half closed.
Hilarious.

Oh, that’s right, we’re sporting a losing record this season. Absolutely hilarious.
The future ain't what it used to be.

Well riderless, Bill Walsh started 2-14
Anybody that uses the record (when a coach like Singletary takes over a .327 football team) knows absolutely nothing about football at the NFL level.
Congratulations.
BTW: Chuck Noll: 1-13. Jimmy Johnson: 1-15. Bill Parcells: 3-12-1.

Rebuilding a franchise takes time
It’s not going to happen in one year or even two. Your point about the average time being 4 years to a Super Bowl victory is telling.
I still think we can end up 10-6 this year, which is what I predicted at the beginning of the season. If we hit 10-6 and sweep the Cardinals we’ll clinch the division and go to the playoffs for the first time in 7 years and our first winning season in 6.
That would be an impressive start for a new head coach.

Just to clarify
Sheets was not released. He was taken from us off our practice squad by the Phins. We did not have a way at the time to get him on the team. Or at least the FO felt they couldn’t. Just wanted to clarify that. And I checked yesterday and he’s the 4th RB

Since you are a newbie you should know that
ALL CAPS IS CONSIDERED RUDE. As to Kory Sheets, yes he was better than Thomas Clayton. However, you need to know that there is much more to playing RB than just being able to run. Sheets didn’t have the greatest attitude and had no interest in blocking. You can’t have an RB who isn’t going to provide pass protection or your QB will get killed.
Tearing up the preseason has NOTHING to do with how well a player will do in games that count. Sheets is languishing on the bench in Miami. He’s just another RB with speed and not much else.

Sheets not a good RB
but I was hoping he could be a return man, so not much a RB. The SF return game has been painful to watch (the return man appears to be moving in slow-mo) and some speed would be very nice.
The rossum cut continues to annoy me.
by brundylop on Nov 8, 2009 9:39 AM PST up reply actions 0 recs
I hope Robinson is our return guy from now on
He had 5 returns for 99 yards against the Colts, which is just under 20 yards per return. That’s a pretty good average I’d say and far better than anyone else has done for us.

Should we ban children from Ninersnation?
No, but this would certainly make a good case to do so…
To put it simply,
1) Don’t use caps for the entire post. As previously mentioned, it’s rude.
2) Don’t make an account solely for a single post. An account (especially a NN account) is who you want people to know you as, and you must stand by it loyally.
3) K. Sheets was fast, but he couldn’t pick up blitzes and wasn’t very fundamentally sound.
4) They have Gore, Coffee and Robinson. Sheets is the odd man out.
5) This guy Keon Lattimore that they got to replace Sheets on the PS is Ray Lewis’ brother so he must be somewhat skilled. I’m looking forward to seeing him next preseason and in the future.
6) Brit Miller was good in the preseason, but lots of people make plays against scrubs in the preseason. As long as they have Moran Norris active, Brit doesn’t have a place on the roster.
Sorry, kid. Read a bit more, and then create a post. Oh, and another thing. Don’t call out the mafia.

Hello, Kory Sheets.
Context, people. More context is good. Less context is bad. If you're willing to be reductive, then you're willing to be wrong.
