WE NEED LARRY JOHNSON
We just made 2 major mistakes by releasing Rossum and allowing super fast Kory Sheets to leave
They say coaches always know what is best ? Well if that is true, then how did someone as talented as Shaun Hill get passed by ? Shaun Hill is a winner, he makes amazing decisions and broke the all time completions record for a starting QB. I watched the pre-season very closely, and Glen Coffee looked ok at best, where Kory Sheets and Brit Miller looked very impressive. Kory Sheets can burn by people, just like Chris Johnson ( Titans ) did against us yesterday. Glen Coffee runs straight ahead only, and is very predictable. We would be completely stupid to pass up on an amazing talent like Larry Johnson. He is tired of playing for a team like the Chiefs that makes bad decisions consistantly. I believe if he came to the 49ers he would feel the fire again and start beaking records again. The Niners will never win if we keep making stupid decsions like letting Rossum, Sheets, Miller, Shaun Hill, and Aaron Rodgers slip out of our grasp...... STAND UP FANS AND LET WHOMEVER IS MAKING THESE STUPID DECSIONS KNOW, THAT WE ARE TIRED OF WAITING FOR THE NINERS TO RETURN TO GREATNESS !!!!!!
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Niners Nation's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Niners Nation's writers or editors.

Huh?
Can you clarify something for me?
Shaun Hill is a winner, he makes amazing decisions and broke the all time completions record for a starting QB.
What record are you talking about?
record
Ok, I got the answer. The record was completion percentage in his first start (81.5%). Clearly that is an indicator of future success for Shaun Hill.

BUT
he was smart enough to leave the mafia out of this post.
The mafia controls anything that has big money involved..
All they have to do is force teams to make bad play calling and pick the wrong people,or let players go that are great and the team will suffer….

Larry Johnson is...
a shot back with a dreadful attitude and a penchant for creating bad publicity off the field. SF needs this like they need cerebral palsy.
I'd take bad press if we were winning.
So what he called out Haley. Should he have kept his mouth shut? YES. Is Haley the most qualified for that position, NO. Is he better than we have with Coffee? YES. Heck, I’d put him back there and let him return kicks and punts.
I'm talking about arrests...
being unpleasant to people in the locker room, etc. At least T.O. didn’t get arrested that I can remember while he was here. I don’t think I’d want him as a return man, either. Speed is important when you’re trying to break a return, and running backs with too much mileage tend to lack that.
Not another one of these posts...
At least only about two lines are in CAPS instead of the whole post…
Another thing: I admire your guts for sticking to the account. I thought it was a one post/one account thing, but I was wrong. Good for you…
Now how about doing some research?
Natural hater of all NY, Pittsburgh, Oakland, LA, and Dallas teams
Research is for confused people that have no clue about what is true or false
i was blessed with amazing common sense at birth, I can see a loser from a mile away.. And Alex Smith has proven to us Niner fans, over and over again to be a huge loser !!!

Oh, I get it. This whole thing has been a joke. It couldn’t possibly be more obvious than you just made it with this comment.

The best part is his attempt to use the word whomever. Stay classy, Kory Sheets fan!
I'm thinking but nothing's happening.
That's actually correct grammar
Surprisingly enough. Of course he ruins it by the all caps and then messing up on Decisions.
Who is making decisions?
He is making decisions.
I know it’s a shortcut and not always 100%, but when you rewrite the sentence to use a third person pronoun, doesn’t “he/she” = “who” while “him/her” = “whom”?
Or to rewrite it another way, “Let he or she who is making the decisions…”
I think whomever is wrong there.

Correct
Who is used when it is the subject of the verb.
Whom is used when it is the object of the verb.
Mike Singletary says we should go out there and punch them in the mouth,is that classy ?
Class is for sissy’s not football, Football is a smashmouth sport, Singletary likes to kick ass, not serve wine and cheese to his players before and after every game…

I want recaps from this guy every week.
Also I want him around during draft time.
Recaps?
I want ALLCAPS from this guy every week.

Larry?
So a player who was susended for using multiple gay slurs should be signed by San Francisco? Regardless of the on-field help he could be, would the 49ers really consider such a risky PR move?
He is mad from losing over and over again..
I bet he would be a true team player if he had a chance to win..

I like this. The Chiefs were sick and tired of Larry Johnson’s act, and got rid of him the second they found any possible excuse to do so, and it was Johnson who was sick of playing for them.

people will take your posts more seriously
if you focus on one actual argument or central idea/theme/question. All of your posts have been rants that are only somewhat related to the title. If this is about LJ, then make it about LJ and not Sheets, Rodgers, Hill, and Rossum. If you want to complain about all the personnel decisions, then title our post – “A list of bad personnel decisions by the 49ers front office.” Also, tell us what makes you think LJ still has what it takes to be a top notch RB, and how he would fit on this team… as a backup to Gore? Or to replace Gore?
Preseason football tells us very little. I trust the 49ers decision makers a lot more than I trust myself when it comes to evaluating talent. If Sheets was so great we wouldn’t have let him go, and someone else would have made him a starter by now.
A hearty thank you to Rich Aurilia for all the good memories, and to the Niners for finally getting the uni's (mostly) right.
How come no one noticed Shaun Hill's talents but me...
I watched shaun Hill in pre-season and knew he could make a difference. I have learned that if you can throw the ball every time and hit the reciever in his numbers you are doing a great job. I told all my friends that Shaun Hill was the best available quarterback in his first pre-season game because he was throwing every pass effectively and driving the team all the way downfield to score. Alex Smith was fumbling the ball and throwing tons of interceptions.
by KORY SHEETS WAS OUR FUTURE on Nov 10, 2009 1:58 PM PST up reply actions
Shaun Hill didn't do anything in pre season to show he deserved the job, Smith just didn't show any reason for Hill to not start.
is this FF?

"Child Please" -Ochocinco
Kory Sheets
sucked. Good speed, pea brain, wimp. Afraid to block and not interested in learning.
Kezarvet
How come he was scoring ?
Isnt that what matters in the end ? If you continue to score, you win games. Fullbacks are made for blocking, not tailbakcs…
by KORY SHEETS WAS OUR FUTURE on Nov 10, 2009 2:00 PM PST up reply actions
Exactly!
It’s not like Lawrence Phillips needed to block anyone for Steve Young!
I'm thinking but nothing's happening.
RB's who can't pick up the blitz are a real liability
Even if they’re really fast. There’s more to being a great RB than just being fast.
Don't trust this guy. He lies.
One of the reasons that Smith has had marginally better protection than Hill is that Gore is healthy now.

Tailbacks have as one of their designated duties to help block on passing downs.
If you read anything on football or watch games you will see hear and know this. Football is not a brain dead game it is a rather complex game at times with multiple duties of a player.

That was one of your dumbest
replies and proves that you really know very little about football.

Those were the last two seasons that LJ can be considered a play maker. It has been downhill from there. You might try blaming that on the woeful franchise that he plays for but I’m not convinced a return to glory would happen wherever he ends up. Hopefully we won’t have to find out here.
I am totally slack jawed reading this post;
Is this a joke or somthing?
Do you support the release of Rossum ?
After losing the best chance of having a replacement in Kory Sheets, Larry Johnson seems to be our only hope at this time…
by KORY SHEETS WAS OUR FUTURE on Nov 10, 2009 2:01 PM PST up reply actions
Rossum was too fragile and had attitude problems.
Where do you get this stuff. There are good players on this team, why would we want KC’s re-tread.
somehow...
I don’t think signing LJ would be good for the niners considering that San Francisco is one of the most accepting cities toward gay people
darn i though we were talking about this guy

Really now?
This has to be the dumbest blog ever. The guy is too much of a distraction and top of that we already have a starter in frank gore. The o line is just not up to par which is diminishing gores success. But seriously we don’t need a selfish player like lj
how does one Fanpost

I know that some people refer to each FanPost as a “blog.” I’ve noticed that several times so maybe that’s what he means?

It bothers me when they refer to each FanPost as “articles.” I don’t even refer to my main page stories as articles. Why? Because they’re not.

Forget the Past
I don’t know if “Kory Sheets was our future” (How can our future be in the past?), but Larry Johnson is definitely the Chief’s past. Let’s let has-beens be has-beens.
