Anyone Going to Seattle?

Myself and a bunch of Niners fans are going up to Seattle for the game this weekend. Is anyone else going up there? If anyone has been up there before, what is the best bar to go to before . . . especially if other Niners fans are going to be there? Any other tips that others could share with me would be appreciated. I understand there is not a lot of tailgating there. Thanks and Go Niners!

that sounds like fun

I wish I was going to Seattle this weekend. Game or no game. I lived up there for a few years in grad school. When it comes to bars I guess it would depend on what type of bar you’re into. There’s a pyramid brewpub right by the stadium and a few bars along the road next to the stadium. And of course the stadium is right near pioneer square where there are a ton of bars and clubs. Unfortunately I’m not all too familiar with any of them, as that wasn’t an area I spent a ton of time in. There’s an old school style sports bar right near the stadium that could be fun – it’s called Sluggers. If you’re into the whole girls dancing on the bar and doing body shots coyote ugly thing there’s a place called Cowgirls. Another bar that I liked that was over near the Pike Place Market is the Alibi Room. Also there’s a place over in lower queen anne called Ozzie’s that has karaoke and is pretty fun. And if you want to find drunk 21 year old girls go to belltown – any of the bars

I will be in Seattle for a few days but not for the game. I’m a bit nervous about my travel itinerary. I’ve somehow managed to miss every Seahawk game the last 3 years and I’m actually scheduled to be home to watch it. Makes me believe something will happen to prevent me from seeing it.

Tailgating scene is actually pretty solid.

At least, there were a decent amount of us diong so at the one Quest game I saw….

I will be in Seattle for the game.

A friend and I will be heading up to Seattle from Portland for the 5th straight year. I’m not too sure about the tailgating, or the bar scene in Seattle but if you figure anything out let me know.

We have heard of two places . . . Sluggers and Wild Palms. We actually heard that Wild Palms is a Niners bar. If anyone goes be sure to wear some red. Go Niners!

I won't be going to Seattle

But my neighbor is from Seattle, so her boyfriend and I (along with many of my friends) will be heckling her to no end as the niners cruise to victory (I hope.)
