Um obviously you didn't catch the point

It has no bearing on them being good. The point with then not being around to take Suh and Locker not being there. Berry fits in their slot at 4 or 5

Expect Suh who is gone with the 1st pick. With the Browns being as far down as they are and having no safeties they are taking him. Thats the point

Why do you guys have so much faith in Smith? The year he was drafted, everyone knew it wasn’t a great year to draft a QB. It was one of the weakest QB selections of the time. But we had to get one and hope for the best. Smith is the best we have right now, but he is not gonna win us a Superbowl, or even get us there. But so many people have been on the bandwagon cause he can throw downfield. There is a lot more to a great QB than arm strength.

Actually still in it

Unlike @ Houston where we played awful or @ GB when we got dominated in the 2nd quarter, today is really about turnovers and penalties (real and imagined). Niners have shown they can move the ball so cut out the turnovers and score like we did in other 2nd halves when we were down big.

We get the 2nd half kickoff so let’s make it 20-10.

You gotta bring ass to get ass.

Three things that need work during halftime...

1) The O-Line: The Titanic’s hull did a better job keeping water out. Philly getting pressure with only three or four which is just pathetic.
2) Alex Smith’s Decision Making – Not helped by the O-Line’s inability to protect, but he needs to start making better decisions
3) Offensive Play Calling – Try some play action. Try some screens. Get the ball to Crabtree, Morgan and Hill. Raye has to stop fixating on the TE’s who are doubled up in coverage.

by sigma on Dec 20, 2009 2:57 PM PST reply actions

ok. the Only way this gets better, is if we find out an Alex Smith doppleganger was covertly inserted lineup before the game—-Samari mike finds out-chops him in half at halftime (pun intended)—-and finds the real Alex Smith!
